  • bottom line is you should NOT push your beliefs onto others. that is the reason we atheists are frustrated with religion. there is nothing wrong with the belief in a higher power and a story that goes along with it, but when you push these extreme beliefs onto society, it frustrates everyone. this is why gay marriage is illegal in so many states. this is why creationists are trying to get their stupidity into science classes. scence flies people to the moon, religion flies planes into buildings.

  • @sorry8140 "bottom line is you should NOT push your beliefs onto others." Is that *your* belief? Do you vote? Are you pushing your beliefs on others when you vote for *your* candidate?

  • @thewayofthemaster actually im 17. i do not vote. you are correct.

  • Skip to 11:13 to get to the answer to the title question.

  • To those who think abortion is ok.... you can only deny the truth, the truth still exists. And if you deny the truth for your own selfish purpose, truth is still truth. Killing any human being no matter the age.. 1 day, 1 week, 50 years... is wrong and is a sin.

  • I don't push my against abortion beliefs on no one I simply speak my mind on it, women say my body my choice...well what about the baby's choice? We can argue back and forth but it won't matter, won't change no one's minds or beliefs on the issue. For me to be against abortion is not out of religion it's a personal moral choice

  • @Mirewood Basically it's when someone tries to be a mayrter goes around looking for people to "persecute" them. This happens A LOT on the internet where someone is free to ignore something they don't like, but look at it anyway and whine about it.

  • Hello, we are a student movement in the island of St. Lucia!!

We began in the year 1988. We help students to know Christ and to make him known. It is wonderful to see students' lives changed because of the love of Christ in them!!

  • I dont need religion keep it to your self!!!!

  • @pbrskater26 you dont need religion but you do need God. :) God bless you!

  • @thebigboxl

I dont believe in god, I believe in science and the natural world. It give's me a better intellectual construct on how are world works. I dont need to believe in god to be a good person because I know through science that morality is innate, are species as we developed tribes, originated a complex social structure, through that social structure develeped rules withen the tribe, as tribes branched out so did those social structures! Please dont give me rays speach, or pascals wager.

  • @thebigboxl

I'm smarter then the average atheist/naturalist, I know about fear indoctranation, ray's bad attemped to soil darwins origans of species, all it is is really bad psudo intellectual psyco babble saying that if you dont reject naturalism, for supernatural claims your life has no purpes and your a heathen.

  • "You bore us...." good response. :-)

  • There you have it comfort chickened out of the challenge.

  • The reason someone uses the "pushing your views" it to fuel their victim complex.

  • do not be guilty of pushing your belief that no one should push there belief on someone...

  • BEST PART OF INTRO IS 0:14

  • No, no pushing

Keep your doors open for those who are looking but leave the uninterested alone

  • There is a difference between sharing and pushing our faith. Sharing and inviting is a legitimate way, but pushing becomes offensive to people and ends up pushing them away. You might plant a seed, but it could also be the wrong kind of seed; one of bitterness. Just my .02

  • @HisLightInTheDark I'm the same way! God bless those shouting out on the street, or up in the pulpit, but I feel like we're all meant to shine in different ways. I feel like a subtle approach like that can still shine just as bright!

  • You guys must have some pretty slick technology to project the hosts onto Mark's blackboard, since there isn't any sort of green screen behind them. Nicely done!

  • Mr. Comfort finger nail prank is pure genius. Evolution did it!

So, which old testiment stories do we pick and choose to live by again? This one?

So Joshua subdued the whole region, including the hill country, the Negev, the western foothills and the mountain slopes, together with all their kings. He left no survivors. He totally destroyed all who breathed, just as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded.

  • Why is it okay to pull quotes to live by from psalms but not from Leviticus?

  • @RahzZalinto Which ones you want to live by? Go ahead if you want to, your more thab free too. Of course if you read Colossians you would know that those ceremonial laws are shadows of a person.

  • Why do you believe in god? Lol

  • "Why are you pushing your belief on me that I shouldn't push my belief on others?"

    1. That isn't a belief. It's a common courtesy. And there's a difference between trying to enforce a common courtesy and pushing a belief.

    2. Whenever you guys try to victimize yourselves like that in order to worm your way out of something, it just reaffirms how narrow minded you are.

  • @chinchychilla No, it is in actuality a presuppositional philosophical belief -- that it is "wrong" to "push" (communicate verbally) a position. By claiming someone shouldn't do that, you have immediately contradicted yourself displaying hypocrisy. It really is an admission that you have no real understanding of what you believe or why you believe, so the easy out is to attempt to silence the other side.

  • @ytuseruber If you want to be left alone, than having someone come along and push a belief is wrong.

  • @ytuseruber

No it is common courtesy. Let me draw it out:

    1. When someone wishes to be able to be left in peace, it is a great annoyance to them when someone comes along and tries to shove a belief in their face

    2. Most times, the person pushing said belief will feel the same annoyance when another belief is pushed on them

    3. It is courteous to only do something if you are willing to have it done to you

    4. Therefore, it has become common courtesy not to push beliefs on people who do not wish it

  • @chinchychilla 4. Therefore, it has become common courtesy not to push beliefs on people who do not wish it

If it is wrong to push your beliefs on to other people, Then why are you pushing your beliefs onto us now?

  • @chinchychilla That isn't a belief. It's a common courtesy

Do you believe that is true?

  • Sounds like Mark is making some progress on his presuppositions. :)

  • Richard Dawkins knows a lot about why atheists do not believe in religions. If you were to debate him and win, you would probably be able to convert a lot of atheists to christianity because he knows most of the arguments. Not debating him because of "old news" is kind of a cop out because you might be able to save at least one person to Christ but will not because he is "old news"

  • @Relaxingintelligence Richard Dawkins is a joke, He is willing to debate anyone but one of the leading apologists of Christianity, namely William Lane Craig.. Craig Has written whole book showing where Richard Dawkins' arguments fail.. Yet Dawkins has no backbone to challenge him.. he is just scared. Dawkins knows himself if he debated Craig that everyone would be able to see just how weak his arguments are against God.

  • I dont push my beliefs on anyone. I'm not a christian because I have a problem with telling people how to live and think -_- also, just because i'm not a christian does not mean i dont have a bible. everyone has had a bible or has been given one sometime in their lives, Tell me where Jesus says to go out and Forcefully convert people!? He said go out and tell them about me. Tell them to love each other, Dont judge etc....Seems 90% of christians Forgot what jesus taught!!!

  • @jfrankart Jesus didn't command us to forcefully push our beliefs on anyone. We are to do everything in love. If you have been 'force fed' the gospel, don't blame it on Jesus. Some people have found the truth and just want to tell you about it. Most people are probably unaware how to share their faith gently, but there's no need to condemn them for it. I have been 'force fed' evolution, big bang, and many other beliefs in my life as well. Make an effort to talk with people and hear them out.

  • @Figsx whatttt? Judges 10:7 Joshua 10:40

  • @Figsx Evolution & the big bang aren't "beliefs" they are science, if you don't "believe" them that's fine you can also not "believe" in gravity but it's still there whether you like it or not it's still there. "The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off." Which is why a lot of Xtians still have anger in them because they were lied to and feel betrayed.

  • @MistressArte I don't argue that the big bang is a fairy tale. I'm more open minded than that. However, I don't ignore the fact that there are some assumptions with it, and there are problems/errors with it. I believe there is better science to explain the origin of the universe. If you think the big bang is dogmatically true and 100% fact, you're ignorant or lying. Stephen Hawking among other well established proponents of the big bang have even admitted there are flaws with the theory.

  • @Figsx How many years ago was that? Also that problem is solved once you stop thinking of our universe as the only universe. Too and Stephen Hawking is an Atheist and he understands more about physics then the majority of us will ever know. The thing about science is science changes as we learn more about it, it's why the world isn't the center of our solar system anymore. Dogma like religion doesn't change and evolve that's why it's morality will stay as primitive as the people who made it up.

  • @MasterOranda Are you normally too chicken to have your comment seen by other people?

  • @jfrankart Do you believe what you just wrote? If so, please stop pushing your beliefs on me. :-)

  • @jfrankart .. Jesus taught also: "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." Joh.7:24

The place where you're referring to "dont judge" .(Matthew 7). is talking about hypocritical judgment, where you are yourself commiting the same act you are judging.. Read it from the context, you have a bible don't you?

  • @AhoSenpai Agreed!!! I have to tell people the same thing.

  • Did Dawkins actually offer to debate? If he did, that shows his character, or lack thereof. William Lain Craig has been wanting to debate him for years, and Dawkins continually refuses. (Craig would mop the floor with Dawkins). However, Dawkins is more than willing to debate an evangelist who knows little or nothing about the specifics or arguments of the creation-evolution debate (no offense) :) You should watch some Kent Hovind videos and then accept the debate and witness to him.

  • @Figsx You're nuts. Hey, you're on youtube. How about you youtube the COUNTLESS VIDEOS of richard dawkins debating people. You're only option at this point is to recant your statment or just ignore the fact he has constantly sat and debated christians.

    HERE IS A START youtube.com/watch?v=F-S7M0KZTsU

Richard Dawkins on the Big Debate 1 of 6

(for those wondering he claimed richard dawkins hasnt offered to debate christians)

  • @Figsx No. Richard Dawkins has never challenged Ray Comfort to a debate. And Richard Dawkins has refused Ray Comfort's cash offer to debate. Out of arrogance or fear, Richard Dawkins will not debate Ray Comfort.

  • @TheLawman104 He doesn't debate Comfort because he doesn't want to prop up Comfort. Also, why would anyone debate Craig?

  • @freakincampers "why would anyone debate Craig?"... Yes it's quite pointless because they would lose anyway.

  • Dumb

  • @kdemon17 Writing an autobiography are you?
