Very well played: technically strong and accurate, and yet with feeling and dynamic range. I also like the way it is filmed -- clear, good framing, with a few varied shots but without silly gimmicks and excessive closeups. What a great piece!

Complimenti! Sei l'unico pianista su youtube che utilizzi la diteggiatura originale di liszt per eseguire gli arpeggi in doppie note dopo la cadenza iniziale! Quella diteggiatura è funambolesca!

La diteggiatura di Liszt è essenziale per la corretta interpretazione di Mazeppa. L'utilizzo 2-4 è l'indicazione di una tecnica che rende un suono molto peculiare agli arpeggi.

@deanbrown3d I believe this is one case where the 1837 (I think it's '37, not '36) is easier than the final revised version, not harder... Of course, that can't be said for the others!
