but then they went somwhere...

so i just went into karthspire

@botcatch Hey im not sure if you fixed the esbern prob. your probly past it already, but its a permission error where your game cant access cause of admin privlages. just goto your ES: IV folder change permissions and then with fallout modmanager/ oblivion modmanager(OMOD) goto the data folder of skyrin and open Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa then extract it to the same destination (Skyrim\Data) with the modmanager.

@botcatch I had that problem too, but the solution is simple. Just go to the Skyrim folder in your documents (not the install folder) and delete the two .ini files. The game will generate new ones when you start the game and Esbern will talk ;)

@reetskeetreet there's another bug which makes you unable to hear a word he says, and the subtitles flash up on the screen too quickly for all but the best speedreaders out there to make out anything.
