  • Nice pet, fella! Where'd u get that? LOL

  • arent those thing posioness

  • DONALD?!?!?

  • "Kokamo Dragoon Eats a Duck", Huh ?

Next time, how about taking a Piss next

to "it", before you FEED it, the next Duck !

  • Couldn't PAY ME ENOUGH.

  • I can't believe he got that close, hand fed it, then TOUCHED it. They're not venomous, but Komodo Dragons are one of the most lethal creatures on the planet and carry a meriad of strains of bacteria/pathogens in their saliva - and they USE this when hunting. Dragons inflict one small bite, and follow their prey until it succumbs to any sicknesses caused by the bite. These afflictions include botulism, staph infections, cholera, meningitis, and are typically antibiotic-resistant strains.

  • @fantabulousK

    Courtesy of Wikipedia:

"In 2009, the same researchers published further evidence demonstrating that Komodo dragons possess a venomous bite." ... "They extracted one of these glands from the head of a terminally ill specimen in the Singapore Zoological Gardens, and found that it secreted a venom containing several different toxic proteins." ... "As a result of the discovery, the previous theory that bacteria were responsible for the deaths of Komodo victims was disputed."

  • @Cosmicextry Oh, well if its on Wikipedia then it MUST be true. After all, it's not like you found it on a publicly accessable forum that can be edited at any time by any person from any computer anywhere around the world or anything, you got it from a factual website run by acredited experts. How dare anyone question wikipedia.

  • @fantabulousK

Wikipedia's accuracy is comparable to that of Encyclopedia Britannica. Just kinda putting that out there, you know, just in case you weren't aware.

  • @fantabulousK There were sources that came with the information I gave you. I bet my sources are a little better than that Discovery Channel program you and your parents watched years back. I found your statement on a public forum -- does that mean you are automatically wrong -- or without sources should we place just as much trust in you as Wiki? My main point is this: I thought the same as you, looked it up, and found I was wrong (so must be that you are too). Once again, do you have sources??

  • @Cosmicextry Whether or not you choose to admit it, Wikipedia can be edited by anybody at any time. If I want to go on the Komodo Dragon page and say that all Komodo Dragons evolved from insects, I can do that RIGHT NOW. It's not TRUE but I CAN. If I want to give them a definition for "Cosmicextry" and say it means a know-it-all, condescending douchebag, not only can I do it, but they'd cite it, fact check it, and keep it - upon finding out it's actually the truth.

  • @Cosmicextry There's a certain something to be said of people who feel the need to belittle the things other people say instead of standing up like a normal humans say "you think this, but I think this. We'll have to disagree" then, instead brings a person's parents into it. That certain something is, I bet you're a social mongaloid with no friends and no life and you compensate by acting like you're smart and funny and tearing down others who you feel you can depict as less intellegent.

  • @Cosmicextry Oh and BTW I watched that documentary in a building that belongs to the Animal Husbandry Department a few weeks ago at SCHOOL. And you were wrong, the study done by the scientists was on a boucal swab obtained from a male Komodo Dragon who was born in captivity, kept on antibiotics, and never fed wild meat - showing he lacked the deadly pathogens and bacteria that wild-caught and free-wild Komodo Dragons' mouths play host to.

  • @Cosmicextry A similar study was done on a few species of Poison Dart Frog in pet stores and South American climates where Poison Dart Frogs are indigenous. They found that the frogs who had been born in captivity, fed non-toxic feeder insects (such as the popular Chinese Cricket) weren't able to secrete a mere fraction of the venom that wild frogs could because the wild frogs were exposed to, and had eaten toxic insects to collect their venom and secrete it in their skin. It's all habitat.

  • your allowed to have those in america??

  • @562bitchkilla If you mean Komodo Dragons, only in a few states. Most, no, VERY illegal unless you're a zoo/trainer or somebody with a faciliy built for them. Even then, you have to adhere to VERY strict rules. If you mean Monitors in general, yes, a very common exotic pet, and there only a couple states who say you can't own one. They range in size, and color, and they get expensive. Very interesting pets, but not for an inexperienced owner, they can be VERY aggressive.

  • hope it does that to u prick

  • here I am again at 1am walking over to the weird part of internetland.

  • That dude just pet a komodo dragon.......must be Chuck Norris' long lost kid.

  • WTF?!?!!?! he just pet that thing like it's nothing like he's thinking "pet a dragon.........LIKE A BOSS" hahaha

  • @theganjaking56 Agreed, hell for all we know it could have eaten a hand next!

  • Damn he just gobbled that thing down, not even sure if it got to taste its meal.

  • Nice puppy!

  • Your dissssspicable.....nom nom nom

  • DUMBASS THAT IS NOT A KOMODO THATS A VARAN MONITOR, SIMILAR TO KOMODOS BUT WITHOUT DEADLY SALIVA!!! SO NEVER GET TO A KOMODO DRAGON LIKE SUPOSIBLY THIS GIRL DID!!

  • @Uranium1972 to take caps off, hit the caps lock button on your keyboard

  • @MyChemRomZaz random but i guess so yea

  • Stupid youtubers. She obviously has the lizard in check hahahahahaha

  • Wtf can u really get that close to dragon???

  • @ifromthepast Yes. Google Nicole Viloteau. She made a documentary where she lived with Komodo dragons in the wild.

  • they do have deadly saliva, in fact its how they bring down bigger prey, she did a quick kind of head tap, stop freaking out fuckin youtubers, log off and go outside

  • Don't they have deadly saliva????why is she petting it???

  • 124 people do know nothing about the circle of life.

  • The duck was alive O.o

  • The infection caused by their bite can be easily treated with strong antibiotics. Without the antibiotics, you will most likely die.

  • Why didn't it eat the retard that was feeding it? I am disappointed!!

  • Komodo dragons (and some monitors) are social lizards, which is why, if treated right, they can make great pets. Of course you have to start with a baby and raise it. I know some people that have one.

The one in this video know that it gets its food from people, so it does not kill them.

  • OH MY GOD why did it kill the human I thought they did

  • Their bite isnt poisonous actually, They have a deadly bacteria that enter the wound and cause fatal infections......It really is a horrible way to go cause it slowly kills you

  • How did she not get bitten she was so damn fucking close!!!!

  • @maegan12619 they can recognize their keepers and can actually end up being quite friendly, but as always one needs to be very careful around such powerful animals.

  • And thugs think having a pit bull makes them look tough...

  • Fuck trying to pet that thing...

  • @theganjaking56 i dont think they know whats going to happen after they were bitten =)

  • @theganjaking56 you mean that black guy or the huge fucking lizard?:)

  • lol, patting him on the head....good dragon!

  • WTF? how? domestic komodo??

  • You bitch how about I feed you to the dragon

  • LMAO at all the people saying "you sick bastard" and "i hope you get eatten" i'm a vegetrian and I thought it was funny.

  • @MrTomhigson not like it can go buy a happy meal

  • crazy boy

  • OMG, the guy could be dead!

  • we got snakes the got komodo dragon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that shit aint fair

  • @brunobahia19 yeah it was alive you can hear it screaming, but komodos prefer them alive

  • This thing is huge

  • well that wasnt as exciting as i hoped for

  • was the duck alive? i think the title of the video could be "the woman that feeds the komodo dragon with a duck"

  • komoto dragon: (wistpers to selfe) next food i eat camra person he he he he

  • da fuck i want one :(

  • @roy9437 of course they have! They are something like shark's theeth (but smaller :D) They are like 'saw' ..but I think that this isn't your bigger problem.. They have an venom [actually it's toxic (etc.) bacteria's in their saliva.

  • Comment removed

  • I would do that to ANY OTHER lizard than a Komodo dragon; those things even if playfully bite you you get a severe, mostly fatal, infection; they're saliva is full of deadly bacteria

  • do komodos have teeth ?

  • Stop complaining about the woman! She's just feeding the komodo dragon. its part of the food chain dumbass.

  • THIS WOMAN IS A COMPLETE IDIOT

  • that bastard

  • I half expected a scary demon face to pop up...

  • id love to see them figthing a crocodile.

    Damn animal proction lawls

  • Heaven Almighty! How can that...woman be so close to something as deadly as a Dragon?!

  • so they can be pets! :D

  • @phoenixgirl127 keep it safely fenced away from humans and maaaybe...just don't touch its poisonous mouth :D

  • Don't they have like REAAALLLLYY toxic bacteria in their mouth???

    ~AlanahText

  • @AlanahText yes, yes they do... though I'm not sure if they are born with it or if it is acquired from their diet. So, I think it might be possible to have one without the toxic bacteria if it is fed really clean food. but I wouldn't sleep soundly if I had one of these as a pet...

  • @christiantojil they have a bacteria in their mouth that combines with bacteria they getf rom all the rotten meat they eat which is very toxic causing wounds to turn septic and become infected within 5-20 minutes of the bite occuring

  • @AlanahText Yes, it's one of their primary tactics of making sure they catch their prey. If they fail at taking down their prey at the first instance, the bacteria eventually allows the Komodo Dragon to have it's meal. The bacteria is also for larger prey that can't be immobilised straight away, kind of like how snakes work.

  • @TheGunManX Hmmm... sounds scary haha xD

    ~AlanahText

  • @AlanahText You know you don't have to type your name in right? And yes!

  • @xXxDarkeyexXx1 Yeah ik... its a rlly bad habit lol

    ~AlanahText

  • @AlanahText Very, it can kill a human

  • @AlanahText yes they do one bite can kill a full grownhuman in one hour i think

  • @AlanahText only the ones from the wild, cause of its diet

  • @AlanahText if there captive bread then not always but if wild yes cause of there nasty appetite

  • @AlanahText Yes, its poiseness to every living creature on the planet, their blood stream has adapted to it so they wont have to worrie about it.

  • @AlanahText yea that would suck if it bit it's tounge

  • @AlanahText i think i heard on BBC that they have some Poison Glads like Gila Monsters

  • @Tharodon nopoe its a massive ammount of bacteria sooo many stands that it just overloads your immune system, it dont affect the dragon because of its siliva somehow i cant remember.

  • @NinjaKilo The bacteria don't harm the dragon, it's an adaptation. See the dragon bites say a deer, it runs off, then dies due to bacteria overload, the dragon goes and eats it. The bacteria in the dragons mouth come from it's own body.

Also, all the people saying that it shouldn't be fed ducks shut the fuck up, it needs to eat something.

  • @AlanahText OOOOOO fuck ya lol

  • @AlanahText They sure do! That's how they kill. One bite is potent enough to kill a person.

  • @AlanahText very true....not only that isn't Komodo dragon r very dangerous to human when close up like that that we saw O.o"?

  • @TheBastered I have no idea what you said

  • @TheHammyChannel1 , have u know Komodo dragon r very territorial in some point of the region (which it depends which mood they r in) If that thing is very hungry it should use it spit on that dumb lady. which causing it a launch meal.

  • @TheBastered sorry! I was responding to another comment and for some reason my comment went here.

  • @AlanahText No it a primetive form of venom

  • @AlanahText Yep, one bite and you'll die of infection.

  • @AlanahText Actually they just concluded a study that in fact they do have venom just a lot slower reacting. bacterial infections take weeks to kills something not 12-48 hours. They have this information in most books now and you can view your local discovery channel.

  • @zombienazion and when i say venom no i dont mean bacteria , i do mean they found venom glands on their upper jaw line.

  • @AlanahText yeah its something like 1000+ disease and like 300/400 of those are fatal or something i think

  • @AlanahText laugh out mother fucking loud. do you really have to add a signature at the end of your comment?

  • @AlanahText yes

  • @AlanahText If the animal is to big for the komodo to take down they will bite it and run away then follow it because they bite is poisonous and they animal will most likely die in a matter of hours

  • Nice

    a pet Dinosaur!!

  • holy crap...i never knew komodo dragons are that huge

  • Why arent you dead now?

  • what the hell that kid has bigger balls then chuck norris!

  • @craggsterLFC96 No way, you'd never see this happening with Chuck because the dragon would be to scared to get that close to him.

  • @rrtodd95 ohh yer :)

  • HAVE ANY OF YOU GUYS EVEN HEARD ABOUT A KOMODO DRAGON THAT KILLED A MAN?? AND THATS WHY THEY DONT MAKE GOOD PETS!!!!! >:(

  • @kittehzehn They don't make good pets because people are stupid. You keep a dog like a dog. You keep a cat like a cat. You keep a fish like a fish. You keep a bird like a bird. You don't keep a cat like a hamster, you don't keep a bird like a fish, you don't keep a fish like a bird, and you don't keep a Komodo Dragon like a dog.

Keeping Komodoes requires heaps of money, responsibility, time, space, care, and intelligence. Obviously, you do not qualify.

  • Okay! What the Hell is this person doing?

  • must have 1

  • Sooo pretty!

Why are all the comments talking about nationality and who is stupidest? Can well all agree to disagree and collectively squee over the adorable lizard?

  • The duck is alive, are you guys stupid or what? Is there any need for that? Can't you just kill it humanely and then give it to him?

  • the u.s. is not the dumbest country, we just seem to be because all of our idiots have cameras.

  • Wtf is the world comeing to? argueing wich country is stupid? well in fairness no country is stupid although in every country there`s a few stupid and even retarded people so every just stop argueing -_-

  • "a Big Ass Lizard Just ate a Bird, let's Spam this Video with crap that is Completely Unrelated" fucking Morons -_-'

  • I click to watch amazing reptiles and the first thing I see in the forum is "Americans is dumb huh huh!". Grow up folks.

  • @RobbytheLion HURR DURR AMERICANS ER DM despite the fact that in proportion we have just as many sheep as they do I STILL THINK AMERICA IS THE ONLY DUMM CUNTRY

  • @jedihunter176 You call us Americans dumb, yet you spelt it "DUMM". Way to go champ, you're REAAALLLLYY bright!

  • @superstormj Oh gosh, please tell me you're trolling. PLEASE tell me you're trolling.

  • @jedihunter176

Nope. You best be son, that goes both ways. Think.

  • @superstormj Dude...in my original reply to RobbytheLion, I was just using satire to show how a typical European acts towards America, and to also show their hypocrisy in the form of a parody. Understand now?

That's why I was so shocked that you wouldn't get something that painstakingly obvious, I was afraid you were deliberately trying to make Americans look bad.

  • @jedihunter176

Didn't see Robby's post you were replying to. My bad man.

  • @superstormj I had an @ sign directing it to him...and even if I wasn't replying, would you still think I was being serious?

  • @jedihunter176

Yeah, since that's the general world's opionion.

  • @jedihunter176 noting*
