Thinking of you - my preemie (32 wks) also was jaudice and she was on a br pad and lights for 5 days. We called her our little blue light special. She got better though and we moved on to other challenges. Hang in there!

so sorry to hear your back in hospital, but if you remember my prem story i have commented to you my daughter was 6 weeks prem and also she had a high high high level too she was in this exact thing only for 26 hours then she was out so lets hope your lil girl is the same and you get home soon xxx all the best honey

Omg hun I'm so sorry! I went through the same exact thing with Dallas 2 times after he was born! It was very hard and I can relate to what your going through 100%!! I got to board with him the 2nd time and breast/bottle feed too but it's hard seeing them in the box and yes it's hard when they're hungry and you can't feed tham yet! Anyways I'm going to pray everything goes significantly down and you/her get to go home!!!!

My youngest had jaundice as well our second day in the hospital they said his levels were 23 and he was kept in the nursery for 2 days under.the light and they let me come to the nursery to nurse him.

Little sweetie! :) All 3 of mine were jaundiced - Ella had bm jaundice, but we never had levels tested or used lights. Honestly I think it is physiologically normal - possibly advantageous but we don't understand it yet (just my opinion!), although I know once the billirubin gets up too high it is potentially harmful, especially for those itsy bitsies. Wish you could just nurse nurse nurse it all out and hope those lights help soon! xo
