  • Great Post.*****Thumbs up

  • When a was Young Amazing

  • it's all good....

  • This is great! I saw the '90's lineup of The Blues Band down at the Irvine Magnum Theatre many moons ago. Also caught The Manfreds live there as well (as i recall) back in the day.

    Cheers for posting.

  • was this the end song in The Other Guys?

  • Maggie dislike it :D respect from Serbia :D

  • stonking rendition! i person dont wanna work on maggies farm too.

  • @lilalu222 You don't know what you're talking about. Paul Jones was never asked to join the Stones, and as the Stones were formed by Mick & Keith it would be impossible to be asked to join before Mick?!

I like this version but prefer Dylans or even RATM.

  • @wreckedroy It's very possible that Brian Jones talked to him before the lineup was finalized, since Paul, Brian, and (I think) Keith all sat in with Blues Incorporated, which included Charlie Watts and Ian Stewart as members. Paul Jones also played with Brian in The Roosters. Mick and Keith knew each other and had played together previously, but the group itself was started by Brian and Ian, who auditioned other members.

  • If you like this, check out Dr Feelgood, Nine Below Zero, Dave Arcari, Roy Rogers, Johnny Kidd and the Pirates, Wilko Johnson... In fact, just turn your radio off and head down to your nearest blues club, because a lot of these guys need your support as fans of real music and it's harder than ever to play real music and make a living.

  • was uppoppppppp!!!1 y'alll can't allow video posts??????

  • WAS UP

    !!!!

  • cooler song...

  • Saw them 1980 at the Granary bristol, the place was full to the rafters , i had to sit in a window sill to see them, turned me onto the blues and my music education continues to this day

  • thx, i have it only on tape and now I can hear it here

  • Had the great pleasure of seeing these fine fellows at the Marquee '79.

  • If you like this type of music then check out Dr Feelgood. They are as good as this band, and going for as long as this band.

  • Great Band

  • fuck thats just too funny to watch. its GREAT, but its hilarious

  • erinnert mich an meine wilde Zeit als Blooser

  • Matbe if he said yes to Brian maybe Brian would be alive today

  • just seen him live in shrewsbury! defo still got it!

  • great stuff. classic track. thanxxxx for post

  • pants

  • Paul Jones doesn't have to think his band is the Rolling Stones cause he knows he was the first choice to be a Rolling Stone before a Mick Jagger came along!! Oh yeah and HE can sing!

  • Oh, I didn't know that!

  • @lilalu222 What?

  • @echofilms : Well I notice Hughie Flint has only one rack tom-tom here instead of his customary two - just like Charlie Watts. But hang on: what was that other band that had a left-handed bassist ........ ?

  • I seem to remember seeing them in Chipping norton or something "Chipping"

  • Saw them at the tech college plymouth around this time.Brilliant ,and still doing it!Jones is a great harp player and the rest of the band are great journeymen musicians .I f you get A chance see them.

  • They said-"Maggie Thatcher made this song actual again"!!

  • Saw 'em at the UEA Norwich in 1980, and they looked just like this, funnily enough. Great live band. Did a kicking version of Nadine, as I recall.
