I support removing serial killers by (the only humane way of execution these days) Lethal injection because they are the worst of the worst criminals, ending 3+ human lives is unfixable. Each murder victim leaves behind a minimum of 4 loved ones, so for example a killer ends 10 human lives he/she has ruined 40 lives, majority of which will never recover and in some cases take their own life.

Steve Wright got a life sentence and the trial judge recomended he should never be let out, but the high court is supposedly about to ban lifelong prison sentences

@restlessrissole I wrote a book about the Ipswich murders and of how the police arrested Steve Wright less than twenty four hours after they arrested Tom Stephens on suspicion of all the murders. Stephens gave the police the magic intelligence that led to Wright's arrest. He also committed the murders and set up Wright as a patsy. Wright had his dna on most of the victims because he had sex with them but there was no evidence that he actually killed them.

Dr Shipman was a serial killer who in the 70s 80s and 90s killed over 200 patients with morphine injections and at his trial in 1999/2000 was found guilty of just 15 murders... got life and judge and home secretary both said it should mean life.... he hung himself in prison Jan 04

All of this was happening in my hometown of Ipswich, Suffolk since December 2006. He got sent to Ipswich Crown Court also found guilty and got full life sentence in a high security prison. murder trial finished on 22nd February 2008.

I don't see why we have to pay for him to be in prison, apparently he wants to commit suicide any way. But we should bring back capital punishment, ONLY for these sort of crimes. Remember Dr. Shipman?

The GP that took old peoples money, then killed them, killed about 200 people. We don't actually know for sure, coz he did it over such a long time and he was the person to certify a death, number could be nearer to 400.

And to really take the piss, he committed suicide, to show HE had the final say not the court. The victims' families said they felt cheated as his suicide meant that they would never have the satisfaction of Shipman's confession, and answers as to why he had committed his crimes.
