It's still water vapor, a by-product of every combustion reaction. Jets today fly much higher in the sky and produce much more water than aircraft in WW2. The altitude and temperature allows it to be seen. It usually freezes. Similar to cars in the cold you can see the exhaust but not normally when its warm.

Technically Planes only leave a contrail at 30 thousand feet or more. On take off you wont see anything as the plane leaves the strip to reach crusing altitude.And the conditions must be right. The reason you sometimes get them and sometimes not has to do with the tempurature and humidity at altitude. Big conspiracies never work - too many people will talk, even on their deathbeds. WOW, you nut cases need to do some more homework. So the temp at LAX the day you took this was about 78 and about -35 at altitude. Temp and moisture cause the contrails. Oh and take a look at films of WW2 of the B-17 raids over Germany and the Spitfires over England you will see many crazy contrails. (oh, but probably no chemicals, lol)

The higher the altitude the colder it gets, and that is why you don't see planes taking off from LAX leaving any trails. Besides, it would be too obvious if they sprayed at such low altitudes.

Its the same in Australia. I live near Sydney Airport and often see contrails from aircraft in the holding pattern, they never last more than a few minutes and the dissipation pattern is very different to a chemtrail.

Well, of course the planes taking off don't leave trails. Contrails only form at cold temperatures. All the LAX traffic is too low to be in cold enough air.

The planes that leave tails here are the north-south commuter jets, mostly from San Diego to various northern airports.

Sometimes I see trails that span the entire horizon, and I can also see planes that are leaving very very tiny contrails behind them that do not leave a massive white cloud at all, just the regular stream that steams off the engines only a few feet.

When I first looked into this I witnessed over 40 planes fly over between 8.30am and 1.15 pm. I dont think these were separate planes though. Those aren't contrails they didn't disappear fast enough to be contrails and those planes did not look like there were at sufficient altitude to make contrails.

I live in Jacksonville Florida. I did the same thing today as well. When coming out of work today the sky was being inundated with chemtrails. It was very obvious from the 20-25 stripes and x's and miky white trails they were leaving and the odd directions they were flying. I asked two people what that was up there. I asked them if it seemed strange to them. There were so many and they were spreading out. They both just shrugged it off. Disinterest.
