Hi I can't figure out how you do the rolling of the hair, I have layers and they either stick out or don't want to even curl around my fingers! Please help me I have a winter formal Saturday!!

@SavannahLeighStory you can put the ends of the hair in between your index and middle finger and roll it up and pin it down. If you want to keep the layers in place you have two options spray your hair with water or hairspray to have wet hair it helps the layers to stay in place and if there is some hair sticking out you can pin them down too. Hope it helps :)

the roll you used is called a "rat", its made of acrylic, they used to make them out of hair from their hair brushes so the color matched exactly!

Hey everyone!! PLEASE check out my other video about the high roll curl bun, and let me know if this helps with the formation of THIS style :) All that needs to be done is imagine you're doing a smaller bun, so use smaller sections of hair.

You should have shown at least part of the big bun portion...PS. if you have lots of layers this wont really work out for you, the curls (if you can even curl them) will be super uneven.

@smiki5000 i just tried this and i have hair just over my shoulders a side parten (i didnt do the quiff/poof) i have layers aswell i did it took me two attempts, i have bits that like fly out kinda thing but nothing major but it goes woith the hair style and i didnt use a bun shaper thing the major thing was aching arms :L hope this helps it still looks nice aswell just not as prim and proper as this one xx

Those bun shapers, you can make them. You can get two socks and cut the tips of them and stick one sock into the other and roll them till they get to the tip.

@lette4life123 You could also take a straight tube sock and roll it up and cut off the toe area! Only bad part about that is I don't know if one could secure it with bobby pins or not...I never tried, I just used it as a bun and used a rubber band.

Your hair hardly looks damaged at all........ I dont straighten or do anything with my hair, and it's just a curly natural frizz. I eat right, wash properly... It's just me.

If people are commenting on any "damage" there, then they've been looking at too many celebrities with $700 hairstylists.

I loved the eccelectic change in music. Your videos are far more easier to watch than all those lame prissy girls that submit these hair styling videos. Regular people, doing amazing hair.
