Love the way Jeeves pulls back in horror and disbelief when his eyes have focused on Bingo's tie as Bingo leans forward, towards Jeeves, while talking. I believe he even takes a small step backwards, as if the errant tie were to jump at him!
I keep learning more and more about Stephen, im like his stalker. Hes 6 foot 4, size 13 shoes, allergic to champagne and the skin on warm milk, soup, or gravy. He aslo won Pipe Smoker Of The Year award in 2003, and he supports Norwich City football team. Go me!
I think it's so sweet the way Wooster reacts when Jeeves is telling him about the tie. He understands and doesn't get mad or irritated. He rather agrees that the tie is awful.
I'm not either, but I think it's the fact that he DOES freak out over such a trivial thing and acts so serious about it. :) I could be wrong though. Either way, I laughed. XD.
It's a character joke. Jeeves is very specific in his taste in fashion and the importance he places on appropriate style is a running joke through the series. This is just one of the many scenes that reinforces that aspect of his character. :p
Aaaah. This is my FAVOURITE moment in the entire series (apart from Rocky and the PJs and the sweater incident). Jeeves' reactions in those two incidents are the funniest!

Jeeves has extremly delicate sensitivities. Particularly concerning color and pattern. He's should never be exposed to garish desings and colors. For example brightly colored socks, novlety ties or other such fashion disasters.
I agree, this is hilarious. it captures Wodehouse's tone in his amazing books and brings it into this amazing series.
