@nazanovich57 They should have kept the Chinese tournament theme much more rather then the mystical theme. They made a good mix in this game. Along with the eerie music. I hate the techno crap now associated with the series, mainly because of the movies.

Cage was my fav character in MK1, simply because no-one else liked him. Well! Me & Cage showed them! When MKII came out he was even better, but still no-ones fav. I tended to use Shang Tsung in MKII purely because of the variation that shape-shifting allowed. But Cage was still my hyperthetical fav. :3

Lmfaoooooo! You were jonesin on almost everyone's nuts, but why not cage's in the mirror match? I knew in the snes that wasn't possible, but thought it was here? As for the snes and genesis version, snes > genesis in terms of everything except for the censored fatalities which gave genesis an advantage. Then snes decided to allow fatalities for mk2 which made sega suck again.

A lot of fans hated Stryker primarily because he didn't possess any powers and was too common looking in the fantasy world of Mortal Kombat. I disagree though, I thought it was an interesting idea to introduce a character who felt almost "real" when compared to the other fighters in the series. What I liked about Stryker is the fact that he's an ex-marine and his arsenal of guns, explosives, grenades, batons, and tasers made him an enjoyable character. I sometimes play as him in MK Trilogy.

Who else was gonna bring realistic tactics into a fantasy fighting game setting? Heh heh. I'm all for his gun, the grenades, the baton, the nice taser-to-death-Fatality. Hell, ironically, his Animality is also my favorite in MK3 - T-Rex, bitches! O_O (Yeah, I'm done now...ahem.) So yeah. I'm not very good at the MK series, but I've always been a fan of playing as Kurtis Stryker.
