Bullshit, I know for a fact they don't modify those engines. They're stock Z28s that look like base models, with a straight-up bad ASS suspension and electrical system. Therfore the fact that it's a V8 wouldn't necessarily throw off its balance.

@humanparody12 I own a 9c1 interceptor, on teardown, they have lt4 cam, a way hotter chip, cast iron heads for durability, but with the same ports and chambers as the lt4 aluminum heads, for some reason they cops felt the iron more durable than aluminum(?) the car itself has an extra set of bodymount bolts under the floor under the center pillar, with an internal roll bar for stiffness under the roof they are slightly modified, but they do run hard. over built. they are capable of way more hp

I'm talking about B4Cs, I wouldn't know about 9C1s. Police issue Camaros (B4Cs) are stock Z28s that, unless done up in a locality's police garb, is essentially a base model with a bad-ass suspension and electrical system. Like I said, some police departments modify them, but generally they are left in stock drivetrain form (stiffer drive shaft at the most).

@amishdude8595 well like I said that is only what i heard I never said it was true. but I will look into it. you still have to admit that the way the video was edited was weird and didn't make much sense, and in this video it doesn't say he ran out of gas. Just that the bmw breaks down. in other videos where it is synced right the host says " he breaks down" and really all they are doing is repeating an earlier piece of the video and slowing it down.

The LT1 is rated at 275 at the crank I'm pretty sure. To get 350, it'd need a cam, heads or nitrous and bolt ons. The retarded cop said "a chip" that got it that power. Not only does a chip get you that much, but you can't "chip" an LT1 PCM, you can retune it though.
