  • honest hearts ep > everything except atcbb and a new hope

  • @dever898 you listed two things that it's not better than, you should have just named the other two that its better than haha.

In my opinion though The Honest Hearts EP is my absolute favorite and I've been a Vanna fan from the beginning. This song and Lost and Bound are beyond words for me.

  • Honest Hearts I think was just a transistion between screamers because And they came bearing bones is just as awesome as curses was.

  • I love Vanna...lol I just saw them earlier tonight...amazing...IDC whos the vocalist..its still VANNA and they still FUCKING DESTROYED!!! :)

  • LOVE THE EPIC SCREAM INTERUPTION!!!!! Ye..OH!!!

  • YeahhhOGH

  • ...typo "m"

  • I think Davey is actually a great vocalist, and Evan still has the voice of an angel, haha.

  • I miss chris but their shit now is just as good but just cant wait for their new album

  • this song is the shit

  • sick song

  • VANNA ♥

  • honestly chris was my favorite vocalist..anyone know what happened to him?

  • I questioned the new sound as well. Things arnt the same as on the search party never came. but bands change all the time, for better and for worse. Its time we stop judging the band for how they want to portray their emotions and idea's. I loved chris, but davey is the new guy, i gave him a chance and I liked it. honest hearts took a bit to grow on me but Its still vanna.

  • Its amazing how a vocalist can change the sound of a band.

  • saw these dudes two nights ago!!!

  • Don't get me wrong it not bad hardcore in a very general sense of the word. But it's fucking god awful Vanna.

  • Anyone know who produced this?

  • @AJConrady What are you meaning by produced? The band is Vanna, the label is Epitaph.

  • @SykoknotMusic he means who was the producer and studio. they arent even on epitaph anymore

im not sure who produced it, i think maybe its the same guy who produced lions lions's new ep

  • @SykoknotMusic actually the label is artery recordings

  • @SykoknotMusic Actually the label is Artery Recordings now.

  • @OneWingedAxe Looked it up after I posted that and realized that :P

  • @SykoknotMusic The producer is a single person who actually mixes and edits all the tracks on the album. Makes it basically perfect.

  • @SykoknotMusic Anyone familiar with vanna would realize that they decided to part ways with epitaph and join artery records with attila and chelsea grin... which would totally explain the strange directtion they've taken... it's like once they lost chris they decided to lose all guitar melodies and go towards a more thrashy crap direction. i love vanna but honestly? the honest hearts ep was a huge mistake. #gobacktocurses!

  • @derkaderkasmiles I have to disagree, they are by no means "Crappy thrash". Now im not saying I like honest hearts as good as curses and TSPNC EP cause I dont. But their music still sounds like Vanna.

This song alone has many parts with beautiful little melodies in higher notes with reverb, and its pretty when combined with "thrashy crap"

  • @derkaderkasmiles just sayin, ATTILA KICKS FUCKIN ASS!

  • @derkaderkasmiles this song was easily the best, but i miss their older stuff. i think this screamer is better because he has more range, but the sound is just too different

  • @sp00g3892 yeah but its not all about the vocals. true the new vocalist has a large range, but his vocal styles are completely different not to mention his stage performance is lackluster. i'd like to see him try to walk on the crowd. as far as i'm concerned the second chris left vanna, vanna was done. they've evolved into the same crap that you hear everywhere. it's sad but true.

  • @AJConrady Steve Evetts

  • @AJConrady you guys are idiots, the producer is the techintion who recorded the album. not the label, the label is the label. i don't personally know who recorded it, or how to spell techinition correctly. sorry i could not answer this question, but i hate when people think they know what they're talking about.

  • @LatestBassist Hahaha yeah I wasn't talking about the label you fucking dingus! ha... I asked who the fucking producer was and don't call anybody an idiot if you can't even fucking spell correctly. Oh and one more the a producer is a person who oversees and manages the recording.

  • @AJConrady idk his name cuz i dont listen to his band cuz im not a fan but the vocalist of EVERYTIME I DIE produced and mixed this EP

  • @AJConrady No idea, I know they're working with Matt Goldman on their full length though which is......incredible news, he's helped produce for As Cities Burn, Underoath and God Knows who else

  • @AJConrady Jay Maas.

  • Love <3333333

  • vanna is fucking ill

  • sounds pretty good. guessing da rest of the ep is as good as this or better. wish chris preece would do guest vocals 4 one song.

  • @armoredxombi Me too man. The Dead language remake really should have had chris. I miss old Vanna :(

Dont get me wrong though, I love their new stuff too.

  • @SykoknotMusic Agreed but everyone just needs to give it time Vanna is still Vanna.

  • @armoredxombi i saw them live a couple days ago. all of their songs are amazing. it would be cool if chris came back tho but vox are on point.

  • fucking amazing

  • COME TO MAINE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Hawkeeplayer77 theyre doing a full US tour after their canada one.
