  • This is the Arcade Version. Altered Beast was Not a Super Nintendo Game.

  • I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a joke everyone..

  • this video is a lie

  • WTF

  • This made me LOL!

  • this is the arcade version, i don't even know if there is an snes version

  • did you mean:Altered Beast Arcade perfect run

  • FAIL. not perfect. you got hit in the first level.

    Nice autofire, btw.

  • one of the biggest FAIL on youtube I have ever seen.

  • Big fake ...

  • 0:45 serves the hero right.he said,"peaw!"i think he got hit in his underwear.

  • maybe you must name the video:Altered Beast Arcade perfect run

  • Comment removed

  • Mais é ruim no jogo, afff... morre mais do que bate!

  • Of course it's the arcade. If it was for a home console, it wouldn't say "Insert Coin" on the top of the screen for Player 2, it would just say, "Press Start".

  • that's a pitiful voice acting replacement for the genesis 'power up' guy. That guy really made me believe my power was going up.

  • OMG...the Snes version kills the Megadrive shit turds/

  • why cant you die?

  • its the sega version, not the arcade. Why? there's no bear stage in this one.

  • @Daedilus35 The Genesis version has the Bear in it.

  • HINT FOR FINAL BOSS

he punches more then he kicks he kicks in 1 in every 10 punches you still get hit allthough jump back and forth if needed =D

  • cheat

  • This is the fucking Arcade Version.

Altered Beast was NEVER on the SNES because it was the Genesis competitor and Sega had it's own console.

  • 0:12 Tatsumaki Senpukyaku (tektetuguen)

  • zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!! zzzzzZAP!!!

  • I almost had a heart attack when I saw SNES in the title.

  • Where's the level with the bear?

  • whats up with the speed pill!????

  • Not really a perfect run, just not losing life when taking hits.

  • @Cokedlr pretty boring to watch actually, when he didn't have to think about playing the actual game, but just spam one move :P

  • 1:23 boss humping at its greatest...

  • @mosesman0526 This couldnnt have been a cay in the life of Chuck Norris, because the game starts with you being dead for a long time then being brought back to life. While in reality Chuck Norris was niether created, or can be destroyed.

  • game would have been better with super mario for your guy

  • You cheater!

  • INSERT COIN for a snes game...yeah right...

  • OK, lets see:

You get hit multiple times during your "perfect" run.

You play like a spazzy river dancer.

You used a no damage cheat.

    You skip through the cinematics.

And even skip through portions of the stages.

    Thumbs uped and favorited!

  • @fistyeah21 lol at spazzy river dancer :)

  • @fistyeah21 wasn't we sopposed to thumb down?

  • Hmm, so you couldn't get a version where it would auto attack and move for you? Be sure and notice he never loses life

  • Yes this is the arcade version.

    There isn't a SNES version.

There was an unofficial NES port that added three levels with new enemies, bosses and forms.

I got to say that I slightly prefer it's Genesis port though this was a damn good game.

  • 00:44 dude got kicked in the nuts

  • "TATSUMAKI SENPUU KYAKU!"

    ...someone had to say it.

  • Man, I think this is just a test screen on the ARCADE(!) As cesardka said, it is not perfect if you are hit once in the whole vid. Thumbs down.

  • @gletschermumie I forgot the insert coin sign^^

  • Man, it never will be perfect if you get hit ONE TIME at least. Hax. Hax everywhere.

  • So that's why unicorns are extinct.

  • 0:22 Russian folk dancing!

  • HAAAAAAAX!!!!

  • lol is that dragon hitting monsters in the face with its cock?

  • It's not a perfect run if you get hit 50 times...

  • Holy shit that first boss is disgusting.

  • Welcome to you're doom!

-dramatic effects- bam, bam, bam, bam, oeh, oeh, bam, bam, bam.

    ohyeah .. BEST GAME EVER!

  • this video gave me a huge case of vertigo..... how lame O_o

  • Perfect run? bullshit!

  • autofire to the max lol.

  • they call him crazy leg

  • OMG SUPER NES USE COINS! HAHAHA LMAO

  • this is the arcade one, why do you say snes port, i mean it would look almost as good as this, but its best left to mega drive.

  • only noobs use turbo controlers

  • wtf they had this on NES, and SNES Get outta here...How come I never heard of a such thing?

  • @TruDru1978 you never heard of it because it never existed. it came out for nes, sega master system, sega genesis, arcade and turbo graffix originally.

  • @vesh666 k

  • Insert coin

  • lmfao@ 1:09 spaz attack, i love people who play like this is fuckin funny

  • HARDEST GAME EVAR

  • anyone notice the dragon form makes a gamera scream?

  • in minute 10:26 is a dick in the doughter of zeus dress?

  • @rafitalco lmao dude!

  • Nice TAS

  • Cool joke but the snes was not powerful enough to have a perfect arcade translation. Mostly because of its tinny audio.

  • i have this for the snes. bought it off ebay.

  • Wait a sec, wizard66 is right! CheatingNoob, You lied to me!!!!!!!! There is no SNES version. This is this the arcade version! No wonder it said insert coin! Thanks for decciphering CheatingNoob's deceit, Wizard66!

  • Hold on and wait for just a second... while I think about this one.... how could this guy be so good? It must be some kind of crazy Tia Chi he's been doing on the side that makes him so good.

  • @Monsterworldfan64 lol yeah he got ya and you went ahead and said that the Genesis could produce a better version than this. Nope it can't coz this is the Arcade version and the Genesis hardware is a cut down version System16 hardware that this game runs on. Thats all =D

  • Cheats!?! NOOB!!!!

  • This is fake¬¬

  • This is the arcade version!!! SNES version does not exist

  • @Wizard66 that makes sense but it would be cool if they ported to SNES but knowing sega they'd sue for that.

  • why did I never know this was on SNES? Must be hella rare.

  • You also didnt know that you had to insert the quarter/token under the reset button to play this game, did you?

    OPEN YOUR EYES.

  • Well exxxxxcuuuuuuuuussssssssssseeee me you bitch.

  • Genesis version could've been better if they had put more work into their first Genesis titles. Any console maker is like that with their first titles on their new system, they take it easy on graphics and gameplay on their first ones for they don't know its true potential yet. Basically why first games on a console don't take full advantage of the hardware and the later ones in the console's lifespan do. Personally I think the Genny was capable of a better version than this. The Genesis pwns!

  • The SNES version of Altered Beast owned the Genesis version, just like most multiplatform games.

  • 'perfect run' More like cheat code run.

  • yawn..

  • On snes, i never knew that.

  • where's stage 3?

  • invincibility cheat, obviously...

  • Snes version? wow someone obviously didnt grow up on altered beast back in the days. and perfect run? well try doing it without a turbo pad or cheat...LOSER!

  • this is the arcade version Noobs!!!

  • Yes. Notice the "Insert Coin" blinking.

  • yep, same.

  • The guy sounds gay when he says "Welcome to your doom"

  • "Check out my next vid - Sonic The Hedgehog on NES - Perfect Run but I still obviously take damage."

  • What kind of stupid person are you, I see three things wrong in your misleading video. First if this was a Super Nintendo version of this game then why dose it flash saying "Insert Coin." Second, this game was made by Sega and if I remember correctly, way back when during the 16 bit wars between Sega and Nintendo, Sega would never even think of releasing one of their own games to be played on a rival system. Third, learn how to brand your videos properly, you'll avoid comments like this one.

  • @Geeker1982

actually, Altered Beast was ported to the NES via TENGEN, as they has rights to the game also :)

  • @Geeker1982 Altered Beast has a version for NES. And the Arcade has a slightly different flashing white cerberus. Minor difference, but... It is not that SEGA and Nintendo were that deep into rivalry, it's that Nintendo was gaining the upper hand.

  • you idiot there's no SNES version of altered beast!

  • This is the System16B ARCADE version.

There is no SNES version of Altered Beast.

  • @airraideagle i appreciate ppl like you. had me worried for a second. i was wondeirng like wtf how did a sega game go on snes!? my life almost turned upside down!!!!

and lol at the turbo kicks lol

  • @wangtang32000

    It didn't

But it was released on the NES in Japan and in Europe.

  • THis is arcade, not SNES, there was no SNES version, and had there been, it wouldn't have been this close to the Arcade. (particualrly the sound, not the voices, the FM sound effects/music)

32x could have done it, but that's a different issue. (and it never had it anyway)

  • The SNES could have pulled it off and it probably would have been a closer graphical presentation to the Arcade.

If you need proof of the SNES' capabilites, look at Starfox.

The Genesis couldn't pull off those graphics even if it tried without serious lagging issues, not even with the 32X strapped on

  • Snes would probably have been closer in some respects, but may have been more difficult in others (sound samples would sound better, but music might not sound as close ot the arcade and sprites could look nicer, but there might be more slowdown, plus still missing the scaling effects from the arcade)

Star fox was done with a 10.74 MHz RISC processsor on the cart (along with an extra 128 kB of RAM), and I think genesis (SVP chip) Virtua Racing beats it in polygons/second. (but only 16-colors)

  • 32x could (and did) easily surpass the Super FX and even 21.48 MHz super FX 2 in technical capabilities, look at Shadow Squadron, Starwars Arcade, or even Metal Head. (and could display the full 15-bit palette -32,768 colors, not just 256 on the SNES)

Not to mention it used a higher resolution. (320 pixels wide, opposed to 256 on SNES)

Not saying Star Fox isn't better than most, if not all 32x games, it's one of the best SNES games after all. (I personally like Shadow Squadron a lot)

  • what a dumb ass, you know jack shit, The snes would have had shitty lil sprites, they would have added way too many extra SNES colors giving it a over shaded look, the music would have been all snes-ed out with shitty typical snes instruments, and the sound fx would all sound under water like most snes games, dont get me wrong SNES is awesome, great great great games, but looking back, i now see the megadrive converted arcade games better.

  • huh? are you seriously still fanboying over megadrive?

  • And who in the blue hell are you?

Snes was..... well.... awesome, what you talking about?

its all about the right tools for the job. ABeast would be cack on a snes thats all.

  • @koolkitty8989 Also, there is a flashing "Insert coin".

  • @koolkitty8989 this cant be right hell no. i agree with you snes didnt have dis

  • Sound, graphics, action, Better than sega's, but the werewolf kick atack sounds like a quick fart...

  • This is Sega's arcade game. Altered beast never came to SNES.

  • imo the sega sound sounds better but thats just mo

  • weplace "SNES" with "System 16B" on the title

  • This guy is a cheating noob

  • perfect my ass you got punched many times just your health didn't drain fake

  • well his name IS cheating noob

  • Altered Beast was never EVER made for the SNES (or the Japanese Super Famicom).

There is NO SNES version of Altered Beast.

So what version is this? It's the SYSTEM 16B arcade version.

    SYSTEM 16 was Sega's mass-produced 16-bit arcade architecture.

This is the SYSTEM 16B ARCADE BOARD, not the SNES.

  • you are right, this is the genesis version

  • No, it's the arcade original.

  • Welcome to your doom.

I think the Megadrive version is better.

  • Comment removed

  • This is the Arcade Original.

  • SNES version. The person who made this video is retarded. So when do we get to see the SNES version of the Legend Of Zelda on the Genesis.

  • wow power fuckin bullshit

  • Arcade, cause it says insert coin

  • MAME does what NintenDON'T.

  • SNES version? ooooh yeah, sure.... -_-

  • terminator... :d

  • infinite health cheat, and yeah, it's arcade, not snes, as everyone has said. still a good game though!

  • there is also a lot of clever editing in this video if you notice the points at the end of the bosses if he had done it first time he would have got 100000 points for each boss and quite clearly he does not.

  • Altered Beast was never released on SNES. So many inexperienced children. This is the arcade version (sans the bear stage) played in an annoyingly obnoxious manner.

  • List of systems Altered Beast was ported to: Arcade, DOS, Amstrad CPC, MSX, NES, Atari ST, Commodore Amiga, Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis, PC Engine CD, Commodore 64, Virtual Console.

This is the Arcade version. There's no such thing as a SNES version, because it was released way before the Super Nintendo's time.

Also, home ports at that time would never have an added "Insert Coin" effect as you so call it, they'd just ask you to press start.

    You're not fooling me.

  • Don't forget the Spectrum version

  • This game is so wierd. At MD version, that evolution screen is laughable, speciality that sound when you turn at beast..

  • so the game was actualy a movie. weard.

  • Altered Beast was not realeased on SNES.

  • sigh, this is the ARCADE version, this game didn't ever touch the snes

  • im sure this the arcade, if it were for the snes, the music would be better

  • You are right it is the arcade version.

  • thank you i was going 2 go ape shit for this

    oh and btw B3W4R3 1 L1V3

  • anyone could beat this game with a turbo controller and a cheat so you never lose health

  • Old school gaming, great game play
