  • Windows XP sucks, Beethoven rocks!

  • @alec00618 Relevancy Level = 0 lolololololol

  • @EatsSammichesGuy do you know why I mentionned windows XP ?

  • @alec00618 Because it sucks?

Unless there is a direct tie between XP and Beethoven, your argument is invalid.

  • @EatsSammichesGuy there is a direct tie my dear friend,

this symphony is selected as the music sample in all windows XP

go to my documents, my music, music sample, and you'll find it

    understood now?

ps- do you think this would be a good flute choir piece? I might buy the flute choir version to play

  • @redheadsrock518 yes, the flute version is fun :) scherzo trumpet, bari sax and trombone is mostly hits tho

  • No way. Alt part of violins lost attitude, they not take off. So they all sounds like train. No. No. No. Noicy. Forced. This is not about the revolution and trains. This is about morning ride. Repeat.

  • this sounds like the first movement. sure this is the 2nd movement?

  • @fobsternd : Yep.

  • @fobsternd No, this is the second movement..

  • 0:00 - 0:46 epic

  • This movement is the most perfect samplo of man´s getting to perfection. It´s a prove of God existence´s possibility.

  • @jeca0123 xD God? If you want Godness look at MOZART or BACH (J.S.). Mr. Beetoven is just a man.So his music is. If God is a creature (sublime) of mankind here is the fire that subimate ; )

  • @Aventao

Beethoven > Mozart. And There are simply too many notes.

  • @DieAerzteSubbed All-too-true. :)

Too many notes, Mozart, too many notes.

  • @DieAerzteSubbed "I've always counted myself amongst the greatest admirers of Mozart and shall remain so until my last breath" -L.V.Beethoven

(Cambridge Companion to Concerto by Simon Keefe)

After a performance of Mozart's piano concerto No.24 in C minor in 1799, he told Cramer "we shall never be able to do anything like that."

He told Czerny Mozart's string quartet in A major K.464 is so harmonically advanced that it was his way of telling the world: "look what I can do if you're ready for it.

  • @Aventao There's no point classifying Beethoven as "just a man", as opposed to Mozart - Pieces like Dissonance Quartet (Mozart), G minor Quintet (Mozart), Grosse Fuge (Beethoven) etc prove not one of them can be considered as "just a man".

  • @jeca0123

agreed. it's music like this that reminds me why I'm not an atheist.

  • @rockclimber21 it's music like this that reminds me how wonderful the world is, there's no need to use Beethoven to promote your beliefs. Good music has nothing to do with metaphysics.

  • Our dear friend Ludwig van.

  • @bighugejake Ludwig Van beethoven

  • great masterpiece

  • This is fabulous. Before I could only find the minute long clip, but never the full scherzo...thank you!

  • @TOgirl1

    Glad you enjoyed it.

  • @TOgirl1

Me too! Microsoft Word had the clip for years as a sample piece you could listen to and I always wanted to get the full Scherzo. So finally I googled it and wa-la, there was the whole symphony. I downloaded the whole symphony off iTunes for $7.99

  • @stanleycup1964 its not wa la it is voilla it is french for here is or i have done it

  • time for a bit of the ol ultra violence.

  • If I could thumbs up you a thousand times, I would.

  • ¡Ésta es para mí, la mejor obra de arte de todos los tiempos!

  • This is incredible! Beethoven's musical genius and love of life is powerfully put on exhibition for all to enjoy no matter what time in history we are in.

  • genio assoluto

  • thanx ... :)
