  • Ist das nicht in Obertraun in oberösterreich???

  • WHERE IS IT IN SWITZERLAND?

  • It's in Walenstadt in the Kanton St. Gallen. This Avalanche happens one or more times every year.

  • woooow!!!

  • das ist unmöglich

    loooooooooooooooool

    wie haste das gefilmt

  • actually, no fake at all. I grew up in that town (Walenstadt in Switzerland) and I very well remember that day (must have been early 80ies).

  • did it damage the town?

  • thats called getting "dumped on"

  • No, not fake. It's a dry slab avalanche with powder on top. If you ever left the resort or had any idea how much snow a terrain trap could hold, then you would know.

  • Looks real enough to me. The big clouds you see are 99% air and 1% snow from the avalanche which makes it look like much more snow.

  • fake

  • no -.-

  • wow

  • Mollabua....das war eine Sprengung und das hat viel Schneestaub aufgewirbelt. Sieht schlimmer aus als es ist.

  • it's a fake!!!

  • it's not, dumbass

  • Amazing footage

  • wow

  • so nobody died....

  • Once a year, in the small Norwegian town on Frinfergoekein, the entire town gathers to watch while Mean Old Mr. Groetergoek's house get buried. As it takes at least 2 months for the cranky old bastard to dig his ass out, it is always a time of merriment and general celebration.

  • @hyperpsyched ROFLLL that killed me

  • @hyperpsyched lol! er det sant?

  • jop das ist walenstadt und das war kein fake!

  • walenstadt oder

  • It's a powder avelanche, that gives it the look. :o)

Anyway, I life there and it comes down at least once a year, but I never heard that it killed anyone because people were bright enough to not build their homes directly in its way (also sirens run when they try to encourage it by shooting at the evil mountains with that fancy mortar and so on).

Plus because it's a powder avalanche it looks much worse than it actually is.

  • Did anybody get killed in this?

  • cool!
