The game wasn't even released for ONE MONTH at the time this video was uploaded. And on top of that:
- They might not have gotten the game right away when it was released
-The match might not have been uploaded right away after it was recorded
- People aren't perfect, they make mistakes, especially with a brand new game with different movesets, timings, etc. from the game they're used to
It's easy to watch it and say "yeah, he screwed up here, here, and here", but in the heat of the action...

he wasn't taking guaranteed damage some of the time so he could force block to hurt the soul gauge so he could CF. The damage forgone was small.
