my mom bought be extra wide shoes when i was a toddler, and always got me sizes "just a tad larger so you'll grow into them". now my feet are strong and healthy and i barefoot run. thanks mom!
just look at the awesome wide shoes given to babies. then as we get older we squeeze our feet into narrow shoes all in the name of "normal fashion". stupid really.
Totally understand your points about running barefoot. Great, you've got good feet. Unfortunately, so many children's feet are ruined by bad shoes, my poor mother suffered all her life because her feet were squeezed into too small shoes. I think this is all about making sure feet develop properly, something with which I think you'd agree.
"...have never worn shoes, and have perfectly developing feet."
That's enough said, really. Yet, here I know that the rest of the video (which I'm not going to watch, obviously) is going to try and sell me the idea that I need... *drumroll* shoes.
@FLASH1080wxjc Actually I've read quite a few researches in barefoot running and barefoot living. I myself (when it's not snow outside) walk barefoot everywhere, and run barefoot as well, which in my case is wonderful compared to running in shoes which is simply impossible for me due to pain.
The thing is though, I do this BAREFOOT. I don't need "barefoot shoes" (which just sounds so stupid I don't know what to say). Marketers try to make us think we need shoes, which is just marketing bs.
