He says it has been "your pleasure;" I don't know why. First time my hearing him he did that. Than second time, and than the third time, and than the fourth time. It is odd.
Because' if he is not looking at the camera when saying that, - it looks like he is telling his guest that it has been his or her pleasure to be interviewed by Harold. He does always talk too much; or more does his reflecting and prepping outwardly while the interview is going on, instead of prepping before the interview.
I like Shapiro but he eventually falls into the same trap that he criticizes others for, in that he goes on to produce a model of a controlled laboratory experiment with the hand print of an intelligent agent all over it. There really is no way to get around this conundrum. Even his analogy concerning the need for directional purposeful energy involving specific molecules in the right order implies an intelligent agent.
At 56:57, Harold says its been your pleasure and Dr. Shapiro gives a weird face. Harold did a terrible job interviewing a world class scientist. Harold kept on trying to show off his rudimentary knowledge on every issue Dr. Shapiro brought up instead of just listening.
also he needs to use follow up questions and pander to the interviewee more, instead of trying to undermine his guest knowledge of their specialist sphere.

harold really needs to let his guests speak.
also he needs to use follow up questions and pander to the interviewee more, instead of trying to undermine his guest knowledge of their specialist sphere.
