my wife was working at orschelin when this hit we started to walk out the front when a shopping cart went flying across the parking lot so we ran towards the back into the bathroom tg it didnt keep on its original path or it would have hit orchelin and went right threw the heart of ardmore seems like the last tornados we have had come threw ardmore have all been around michelln ,since 95 theres been several that have come threw ardmore

i live in ardmore and when this happend my dad climbed up on the roof of our house and recorded it on a bell an howell auto load an tomarrow i will make a vid of the debree that got lodged into our old oak tree

lol i was ten when it happend..i remember drag my 5 year old sister to the celler by her feet..and then i went on roof and watched it with my dad and grandpa..i lived on n.e part of ardmore and a train passed and people in celler thought the twister has hit.

My parents went through right after it happened, had they not gone back home to get something for me (I was staying the night at my grandmas) they would have been in it.

yeah me and my friend chris share this youtube account, but uniroyal was where my uncle worked, my cousins went to plainview that was also hit, and their house got hit as well...needless to say they aren't the luckiest family when tornado season comes around!

i remember that day

i was 10 years old and on the roof of my house watchin that twister

I was inside the Uniroyal Plant working for the summer when this tornado hit. It was a truly terrifying experience. I remember standing in the parking lot in shock, looking at over- turned cars and actually saw my dad crawl from a hole in the wall near the department he worked in. The damage was so bad, they sent all the summer college students home. We didn't get to work that summer. Had no idea this footage was available. WOW!

I was 6 when this tornado hit. I was at my grandmother's house up on a hill watching it go over Red River Ranch and Falconhead uprooting 50 foot trees and tossing homes like they were monopoly houses. I was about 2 miles away but we had a crystal clear view from that hill. Funny thing, on May 7th 2008 I was at UCO in Edmond and we had 2 tornadoes touch down just southwest of us. Freaked me out... I thought I was about to relive the same hellish day but they never touched the campus.

I was only 9 when this hit. I remember this tornado like it was yesterday.

I'm 22 now, and I can still remember to this very day. Cool video!
