@Nado1969 Dude don't flare your temper on such people. Most players are stuck at reading tabs for solos, and even have the "intelligence" to say that your solo is wrong. Save your time. You're a leg above the rest :)
Well done. Your own sound while keeping the distinct Pink Floyd moniker. Anyone who does a carbon copy is boring and you guys combine all three parts well, to give a continuity. All in all, it's just a song in the album and you guys played it quite well!
I saw you guys play at Sawyer Park for the 50 years of Rock festival, and the sound you all put out was really impressive.Terrific guitar solos, then and in this movie.Who cares if the solos aren't carbon copies? It's not about hitting the same notes, it's about getting the feel right, which was certainly achieved.I think it would probably take more skill to interpret and improvise like so rather than to nail the original.Great touch to add some snippets of The Wall in there.Well Done.
Wow! That was incredible! Great vocal, great guitar solos! Even the great Eric Clapton admits he never plays a solo the same every time. The only live music where you can expect to hear every piece played note for note is classical music (boring!). This is rock 'n' roll!! Excellent interpretation! 5*****
Nicely done! What a shame you have split up! Would have bought tickets to see you. Very good interpretation & a nice sound your getting together. Great guitars & great singer.
Thanks! Glad you like it. It's a shame the band isn't together anymore. The Pink Floyd stuff kind of turned out different every time we played it....lol
Gear: PRS Custom 22 (coil tapped), MI Audio Tubezone pedal, Boss delay pedal, Sherlock handmade 30w valve amp.
A real pity Jon Dory broke up - I was looking forward to another album.
