Their trap was so great I got the 3-1 kill ratio award when the mission finished.

Even in the book "Deathwatch: Warrior Coven" one of the Eldar admits to herself that in the end, the humans acted with honor and loyalty and courage while her own people betrayed her and them and (her words) are deserving only of contempt after all.

Wasn't in soulstorm. It's in the official fluff of Warhammer 40k that the writers of Soulstorm failed to read. Also, they've accepted that Davian Thule of the Blood Ravens succeeded against the Necrons in the Dark Crusade campaign.

I don't know. I never paid much attention to Soulstorm because I think it was a horrible failure. Relic decided to hand the work over to that other company and they completely messed up. A lot of the things they wrote were contradictions to the official fluff, such as the Stubbs having 100 baneblades (which would conquer an entire system with ease) and the marines losing 500 casualties which would never happen. A SM chapter is made up of 1000 marines and they'd only send at most 100 per company.

i found the necrons really easy when i fought them, i always make a webway gate and research cloak, then u r safe. then i can gather up my army, i normally use the falcon machines.

the only thing with the necrons is that the necron lord normally has a move that stops u from fireing, and the wraths can detect infiltrated units.

u guys should be able to defeat the necrons cos i did it without my avatar, cos i didnt no u could get it =p

Ugg, I find ti really hard to actually play against Necron with Eldar unless you know how to rush/run away really fast.Hit and run tactics are the only things you can rely on until you get your machines.

I always found fully upgraded howling banshees and dark reapers worked well against them, with

fire dragons on standby in case a destroyer or tomb spyder showed up, only thing I really needed vehicles for was the monoliths, those were a pain.

Easily countered by surprise mindflay attacks, both the howling banshees and dark reapers.(Err not sure if their called mindflays, forgot their names, melee zombies with no need for moral boosts)I can usually kill fire dragons, if I have upgraded my hero, well that and mindflay ambushes.Rinse and repeat until my monoloth teleports there.
