  • This is a Chinese product. Do not buy it, because it will break. Mines did and it cost me 150 bucks in repairs.

  • i hate the axim pro 61 pads they are sooo HARD!

  • what is happening there?is it an event or something?

  • @Xndingo11 that's NAMM bro

  • $500 for the 25 and $700 for the 61 . way too much for me

  • @JohnF30Music $379, for the 49 key atm. A music store near me.

  • Dammit! I was just gonna get the basic one because of the price and I wasn't to worried about the Hyper shit....but windows vista 64bit! You have to go to m-audio's website to install the drivers in shit but damn!!!! All that extra money just because I'm on 64bit

  • @mrwright909 switch to win 7 64 bit, it's worth it.

And unless you're doing something REALLY intense, even 2 Gb of ram will suffice!

  • @mrwright909 i'm using the axiom 61 on win 7 64 bit with no issues.

  • @alexanderneagu OMG please make a video!!!!!!!

  • does not work with 64 bits windows 7

  • @elquetocapiano i'm using it on win 7 64 bit with no problems!

  • would i have to plug the axiom keyboard into a computer to get the sounds? or can i just take it straight out the box and play?

  • @CMLbeats You have to plug in ther are no speakers

  • @napesta it's a CONTROLLER, NOT a digital piano... it's used to control the computer, nothing else!

No included sounds, no interface, no AUDIO inputs or outputs, JUST midi signals that CONTROL your computer.

  • @alexanderneagu Ya; computer (or any MIDI device!)

  • Will this work with Logic?

  • These controllers are the biggest piles of garbage ever. The first one I bought came out of the box with a broken key. Probably thanks to "Made In China" quality. I returned it for a second one. I run protools 8 with vista. This thing is supposed to be plug and play and not even need drivers to work on my system. Drivers or not no matter what I do, it will not work. Tech support is useless. Save your money and your sanity.

  • @CaligulusSupremus is your pro tools 8 "M Powered" if so it will have to have an m-audio interface to work ...theres a list of compatible interfaces on the website

  • WHY DONT THEY HAVE A MICROPHONE INSTEAD OF TALKING OVER THE CROWD!!!

nearly every namm video you can bearly concentrate on what they're tryna say.

  • it doesn't look like it's physically any different than the regular axiom models (which have cheap crappy plastic rotary encoders and sliders) so it must still suck. and all the "pro" features require cubase so really it's pointless. and the trigger pads are shit.

  • Too expensive for a MIDI controller, they should drop the price a bit.

  • I'm the Miz and I'm awesome.

  • Comment removed

  • novation remote automap universal kills the hypercontrol.

  • would anyone happen to know if i would be better off with the Yamaha MM6 synth workstation, or an M-Audio Axiom 49 and several different softwears?

  • go with the axiom and the software. in my opinion the mm6 is just an over priced childrens synth!! haha because i started off with a motif.but it depends on what your into.

  • MPK all day

  • thats a copy of the akai mpk 49 not more...m-audio is bullshit AKAI 4 EVER

  • damn! calm down dude...listen to yourself, sheesh

  • does it work with fl studio?

  • yeah

  • while the AKAI MPK is a beast keyboard, I CAN NOT FUCKING FIGURE OUT HOW TO PROGRAM THE GOD DAMN THING

  • What program are you using? If youre using Reason, you need the 4.1 update, I have the MPK with Reason 4.0.1 and when you set up your keyboard it now has the Akai profiles

  • M-Audio make loads of different products. Novation, by contrast, focus on just one thing: MIDI controllers, and they are very good at it. Master of a trade vs jack of many trades. My next keyboard is going to be a Novation Remote mk2.

  • What the hell are you on about? Novation make synths and audio interfaces as well. You're a fucking retard. Quality is on a product by product basis. That is all.

  • You are right actually. I tried the new Novation SL 25 mkII or whatever it is called and its build quality was flimsy. The pots felt like crap. I have just bought an M-Audio Oxygen-8 V2 which is cheap but very well built, has great feeling analogue pots and is simple enough not to distract me from writing music.

  • I own an Axiom 49 (not Pro). The keys feel amazing but the notched knobs are USELESS. I am not the only one saying this. In addition, there are lots of redundant buttons. The drum pads are crap because they don't have hysteresis and so they often record double hits when a single hit was intended. Finally, the Enigma editor is a pain to use and has not been updated ONCE since I bought the keyboard years ago. So I have lost my faith in M-Audio keyboards, other than the feel of the keys.

  • Which is better the MPK49 or AxiomPro 49? i cant decide, no one has compared the 2

  • No one can decide which is better. Everyone has their own preferences as to what keyboard they like. It all depends on what you like, or need.

Why not visit a local music store and decide for yourself?

  • thats my problem right now

  • AxiomPro 49 i think.. MPK49 is a fuckin hell hole to program everything with

  • Novation Sl the Best!!!

  • Yes It's good, and I think M audio made kontroler simmilary to Nova... :)

  • akai is the best

  • yeah it does i got the axiom 61 key before this and ive been using reasons 4 no prob

  • Does this work with Reason 4.0 too?

  • Reason is one of the DAWS that work exclusively with the Axiom Pro...just go to M-Audio's website to see what I mean.

  • oh it works on any program that will host midi keys but you may have to set up everything to link up to the new keyboard.

  • I don't know shit about these things, is this like Novations automap or what is the difference? I want to get an easy to use controller and the less annoyances such as setting things up when I just want to try some things the better.

Also does it only do the magic with protools or any software?

  • I think I'll keep my original Axiom 49.

  • Fantastic functionality, but why must we be financially ass-raped by the bloated price tag?!!

  • Thanks for posting!
