For 1 this should be called "An Archeological discovery, with speculations of the Garden of Eden"..not "The Real Garden of Eden"..and God did things in ways that they would not make sense so man can't boast and say that they figured it out..and I realy don't understand why it is so hard for people to believe in One True God! Creator! but have no problem believing in "gods"..if one of these Archeologists were to actually feel the Holy Spirit fill them even just once they wouldn't doubt God!..

Ok, from this programme I have taken it as. 1. there is no creator God, 2 Adam lived after the period of King David. as a historian presenting this she mentions it was 2500 years ago, but does not present any evidence to back it up, only gives a theory. If Adam was a banished King of Jerusalem, does this mean he became the king of Tyre?. if she is a Jew or Israelite how can she prove it if Israel history is Myths. Hebrews/Israelites & Jews don't exist either. Their identity is made up.

I liked it but she is only able to grasp the the 5th & 6th 1st & 2nd Temple day periods.Noah is the 4th day period, Adam the 3rd. Jesus being of the 6th day cast out as was Adam. On the 7th Jesus God rested in death in Heaven he awoke on the 3rd day. As you can see the creation story goes all the way up the generations of man into today. Just as God put Noah in the ark,he placed the man in the garden. When he went in it was paradice but walked out into thorns & thistles. Thanks for putting the whole episode on without the need to change every 10 mins or so. This is a great idea. Real universities have taught how professional bible scholars show that the Eden story was aetiological myth about origins of suffering for hundred (s?) of years, but this is a refreshing new take from a proper bible scholar at a real university. To anybody with university education in the Old Testament, this episode is sound, if not proven, reasoning. Excellent work.

They were equals. when Adam started to lay in submission to him Liliath rebelled and called out the name of God and this was forbidden. Another problem is that given that this is a documentary, she doesn't cite any sources or references other people saying similar things. It therefore seems like she is just coming up with a crazy idea based on what would seem to be a very weak foundation (i.e. the mere word 'garden').

Seriously: Christians believe in a talking snake, an invisible space daddy, they have an imaginary friend that they sing songs to, etc. I often find that the unconventional idea's are often the real ones.
