@czukoman202 Actually they do. What do you think multi-sampled or multi-layered samples means? I own MoR and use the velocity settings all of the time.

Definitely should be messing around more with your velocity settings which will help humanize the sample playback. That and re-mix the song but you've already mentioned that in some of your responses to other comments.

The guitars sound fake as all get out, which is a shame because musically, this track is pretty good. Not a fan of EZdrummer, either, but that's personal taste, for sure. It sounds mixed a little weird to me, synths are way out in front, everything else is in the back. Again, the melodies and what's being played all sound good. Would love to hear it on real guitars or a better sample library, though.

Freaking epic! Dragonforce would be proud of that guitar solo. Those drums were insane (to the point where I question if it's possible) in a good way. Some of the synths (or leads I think) drowned out some of the other instruments, but that's an easy fix. I take it buying "Ministry of Rock" is a good idea then???

@mindchanger912 thanks sir... yes it doesn't compare to a real guitar because there is no emotion with the one in FL.. it may be recordings of an actual guitar that were put into the program.. but it still lacks expressive emotion(maybe a nice amp too lol).

Properly EQ'd sound makes all the

difference in the world.

no no no! sounds cards make no difference for how a kick drum sounds. an lower-quality sound card might have some low hum or a high noise-floor but its not abt the sound card or even the program, there is no "audio engine" that makes kicks and stuff sound better than any other program. Its 100% source material (what samples/generators youre using), mastery of EQ, delicate use of compression to shape attack and decay. FL Studio is very feature-heavy and dirt cheap for what you get.

My god! I'm using FL Studio right now for East West Symphonic gold and Stormdrums 2. What are your system specs? I'm thinking of getting Ministry of rock and starting up some symphonic metal. I have 12 gigs of ram with Windows 7 64 bit and I use the extended memory exe for FL studio but the program seems to like using up the ram pretty quickly. Any pointers on gettting East West stuff to work fairly well with FL Studio? Very awesome stuff!

At the time in which I made this composition... I only had 4 gigs of ram... Yes it does like to use up a ton...... If u need to .. try going into the East West settings and setting the engine to 1... to help speeds of playback... Also you can try to go into the audio settings for FL.. and setting it to Asio4all... you have to make sure that any other program that could possibly make a sound isn't open... or it will block the asio driver..
