Hey I've got a question for you guys. When do you do your ab workout/routine? After your regular workouts or before you workout or maybe on your resting days in-between your workouts?. Plz anyone could answer. thx!
@GarciaLBNL Well i would recommend you dont train 2-3 days straight because it wont be good on your body always have a day rest inbetween each workout but hey that just my opinion someone may say different but alot of people do train how i said in my earlier comment.

i use a 5 day split. Mon - Fri everyday because i have very little time to do my weight training, literally 5:30am for half an hour, heavy lifting, 30 sec rest between my sets. usually 16-20 sets

started lifting weights for first time 4 weeks ago... went from 145 lbs to 154 lbs now (im 5 foot 8 with like 10% body fat) and body fat has only gone up 0.8 percent... i know only a maximum of like 1-2 lbs of that would be muscle and the rest water and fat but its just the start of my transformation... i havent ever really genuinely said thanks to anybody in my life but i wanna say thank you guys. @FallenGod99 yeh thats a four day split, If you want to see the twins' split, it's on their website and its a very good split that puts emphasis on the bigger muscle groups and works great. If your happy with your split and all is working good, just keep doing what your doing buddy. Shoulders are made up of so many more muscles than other muscle groups and I don't want to have to work them all after chest and triceps, so it has its own day like you guys.
Personally, I follow the Arnold routine and work out 6 times a week, 2 times each day, 2 hours for each workout. To clarify, I workout 24 hours a week just like my hero Arnold Schwarzenegger did.
4 o 5 days split is the way to go you can take day off when you feel tired working the muscle 1 times a week is better , training hard put a lot stress in whole body including nervous and endocrine systems, joints etc 2 days off a week is necesary
@alexcolosimoo Thats mine to... i was ondering if it might make sense to throw biceps and triceps in on shoulders make it an "Arms Day" that way every major muscle group gets hit oe day and shoulder (fourth biggest muscle i think ) gets to have the other two added to it.. the bi and tri alone is a superset by it self... or maybe leave it as you got now and still throw in a few sets of bi and tri after the shoulder work just to finish off... what's you think bout that?

frm been on a 3-4 day split i have gone up to a 5 day split. Its because i can concentrate on 1 muscle at a time and it also gives the muscle worked enough rest to recover b4 hitting it again. Very important you should be sore the nxt day. This is how i do, day 1- chest, day 2-shoulders/traps, day3- back, day 4- arms, day 5-legs. I dont lev da gym till i cant lift no more.

You will over train your triceps doing that.I would put a back workout or a leg workout between those two to ensure your triceps get sufficient rest. you crazy, i do one day triceps chest and shoulder, the other day back, legs and biceps, never miss a day.....plus on all days i work out the core and hips.....what do you call that......7 days a weeks....that gives each body part 48 hours of rest in between......and how the hell do you only work out 45 minutes a day, without leaving out aerobics, which at the minimum have to be 30 minutes a day

6 day split works for me. monday: chest; tuesday: lats; wendnesday: legs+lower back (stiff-legged deadlifts); thursday: shoulders + traps; friday: biceps+triceps; saturday: abs
And every day in the week 20 min of cardio
5-6 meals a day with good amounts of protein and lots of water
I have huge increases in muscle mass and strength

@alexcolosimoo Thats mine to... i was ondering if it might make sense to throw biceps and triceps in on shoulders make it an "Arms Day" that way every major muscle group gets hit oe day and shoulder (fourth biggest muscle i think ) gets to have the other two added to it.. the bi and tri alone is a superset by it self... or maybe leave it as you got now and still throw in a few sets of bi and tri after the shoulder work just to finish off... what's you think bout that?

guys im telling you 5 day split is the way to go. dont get me rong 3-4 day split is gud, if you want to advance and grow, 5 day split. bearing in mind 5-7 meals aday.

frm been on a 3-4 day split i have gone up to a 5 day split. Its because i can concentrate on 1 muscle at a time and it also gives the muscle worked enough rest to recover b4 hitting it again. Very important you should be sore the nxt day. This is how i do, day 1- chest, day 2-shoulders/traps, day3- back, day 4- arms, day 5-legs. I dont lev da gym till i cant lift no more.

Chest & triceps then rest then shoulders???? You don't know what your doing. You will over train your triceps doing that.I would put a back workout or a leg workout between those two to ensure your triceps get sufficient rest. Just some advice fellas...........you can do whatever the fuck you wanna do!

you crazy, i do one day triceps chest and shoulder, the other day back, legs and biceps, never miss a day.....plus on all days i work out the core and hips.....what do you call that......7 days a weeks....that gives each body part 48 hours of rest in between......and how the hell do you only work out 45 minutes a day, without leaving out aerobics, which at the minimum have to be 30 minutes a day

Tuesday: Legs
Wednesday: off

Weekend Rest. (or do some cardio)
