This is a dirty trick by the Sri Lankan government to justify its war against the innocent Tamil in the north of the country. The international community is putting pressure on the President and his brothers to stop the war, respect human rights and negotiate for a political solution to the ethnic problem. The President and brothers come up with these kind of dirty tricks to blame the LTTE, hoping the world would support their blood thirsty war against the civilians.

According to the defence sources, the roadside bomb placed at a location between Shailabimbaramya Buddhist temple and the University of Moratuwa, the topmost Engineering University in Sri Lanka, has been exploded targeting a bus, bearing number 29-1885, that was traveling from Kottawa to Mount Lavinia (Route number 255).
