This is what got me into Dub Syndicate back then when i saw this on The Tube , been searching for this video ever since....thank you so much for posting this....peace & unity.....
@anobe42o Scratch didn't steal this , he did an album with Dub Syndicate (Time Boom X - De Devil Dead) on On-U Sound that uses the same backing tracks.
A great tradition in reggae & dub, to use the same tracks with different front artists.
I bought the album after seeing this on the tube, great track. The director also made a great animated video for Sly and Robbie - boops (here to go). Such a shame the tube came to an end there's nothing like it on TV now.
I have a recollection, from a few years later, of another video competition on Channel 4 (probably not The Tube) by then, that featured a Tackhead track; maybe What's My Mission Now? I just happened to turn it on and there it was ... I'm almost certain I didn't dream it.
Been wanting to see this again for about 30 years!!

Just to be clear this song is by Dub Syndicate and is on the "Tunes from the missing channel" LP which is on the On-U Sounds label.

This track was also used as the intro to Steve Barkers excellent BBC Lancs radio show. 'On the wire". On-U Sound featured heavily in the 80s.

Dub Syndicate. Can't fault 'em. First heard this tune 17 years ago and it's still one of my all time favourites.
