hahaha the goaltending in this game was a friggin abortion. Just comically bad.

@chicagojoeX Surprising, too because I'm a Northeastern fan and I know how good John Muse is. Maine's goalie is pretty good too.

@dolphinsneu Yeah both those guys are solid tenders, but after a while they must have both just been like, "You've got to be kidding me." Both are much better than that, but neither kid had a day out there.

Too bad this is the end of the season for Maine. David Wilson did a great job stepping up and taking Scot Darlings place. It really was a great and exciting game, hopefully we get a good goalie to replace Scotty and David for next year. Our best players are all Sophomores, so hopefully we will have a better year next year. We did a hell of a job though, were were estimated to finish in 8th in hockey east... look how far we went.

Also... I hope someone beats UNH early in the playoffs. UNH needs to stand for University of No Hardware for another year!

As a life-long BC Superfan I can honestly say last night I witnessed one of the greatest battles in Hockey East Championship History. I will give credit where credit is due. Although I did get sick of hearing the Maine fans chanting his name Dave wilson deserves a lot of credit for getting Maine to the finals when he took over the starting job over halfway through the season when Maine's #1 goalie got kicked off the team for alchohol posession.

This is one of the most classic college hockey games you will ever see. 2 college hockey teams that have great players, and to see it go into overtime, that just goes to show, Maine can go all the way, but too bad they lost in OT.
