Suikoden is the best RPG game ever made!!! especially Part 1 & 2.

i still remeber a glitch in this game that fuck up my file i can push the stone gate were enemies are 10 lvl behind u can grind preety easily...

Chrono Trigger was a generation behind and looked better than this, sounded better than this and it's overall a better game. :|

@ldcanete Konami & Square can't make games like this anymore, which is a shame.  Overall Suikoden 2 had more to offer than Chrono Trigger and honestly you can't really compare these classics.

@JurpoJarppinen Agreed, It's sad that the JRPG's are dying outside of Japan... Just thinking about Final Fantasy XIII makes me sad for the young players out there that are growing thinking that's a good RPG =\

With that said I'm looking forward to get my hands on Xenoblade Chronicles, that game looks great. :3

@ldcanete Well, many people disagree with this 'overall' part: Suikoden II has better strategies; better storyline; is not overrated; has better characters.

But that's just my opinion.

@ldcanete chrono trigure is the most overrated rpg ever,yeah it's good,but in no way is it better then suikoden 2,chrono trigure had little to no story,most of the charicters were just bland including chrono,with the acception of frog and magus.suikoden 2 has the best charicter line up in any rpg,the story is soo epic with an amzing battle system that has a 6 charicter turn based and part stratagy rpg gameplay.i personaly thought ff4 and secret of mana was better then the overrated c trigure.

FF7 is the most overrated game of all time,far more than chrono trigger.

@piromaniac9999 i was actually replying to a chrono trigger fanboy bashing suikoden,and that's my point,chrono ttigger fanboys claim final fantasy games are overrated,but they also bitch about it being the best game of all time.i know it's not the most overrated,but it definatly is overrated.i love the game,but suikoden kills it.

I did see one guy who bashed ff7 and praised chrono trigger,and kept comparing chrono to cloud.

I was thinking:Hmm:But the hero is actually the weakest because he doesn't talk and has no personality.

We aren't all divided up,and arguing and fighting over which is the best game.It seems like the suikoden series is actually doing a better job at not sucking,but also has far less games in the series than final fantasy.

Sure,you got:suikoden tactics which supposedly sucks,and suikoden 4 which absolutely sucks,but its bound to happen.I don't think suikoden 5 is bad at all,in fact:Its good.

@neobogard The problem with final fantasy is:I lost my expectations from them ages ago and stopped caring literally.

Since ff7,all games have left me feeling empty,while suikoden still fills that gap.

I just beat suikoden 1 today and enjoyed getting all 108 stars of destiny.I've beaten that game so many times that i rarely play it just cause i know it by heart.The same can be said about suikoden 2.

Only games in the ff series i played a lot,are:FF1,ff4 and ff6.

@neobogard Final fantasy fanbase divided its fanbase and created a bunch of empty mindless jaded fanboys who no longer seem to care much about what makes an rpg good.

That;and square was losing its touch before it went bankrupt,that is why they had to sell.Square enix on the other hand,is doing a bad job and digging themselves into a grave.They are over milking games,and trying too hard to extend their market by bringing customers who are generally:not into rpgs.

iv downloaded a PBP file for this game, both suikoden 1 and 2. but it doesnt work on my psp. mine is a psp 3006 version 6.37
