Sid was not fictional! sid wasn't his real name and he wasn't skips son, but he was a rich kid with a brain hemrige, he liked skating and after he was told that he didn't have long to live his dying wish was for his father to empty the pool and let the Zephyr team skate in it. his father left the pool empty for months and even after "Sid" died his father still let people use the pool. the bowl got the name 'the Dog Bowl as there would always be dogs sitting around while the skaters used it.

@MrBbgunman Actually, Syd was a combination of 3 different characters. A rich kid, a cancer patient, and a lower skateboarder who idolized Jay Adams.
