  • So hard to project because all his throws at Mizzu were underneath to intermediate throws that i would call easy for a high level college QB. I trust Gene Smith though

  • welcome to jacksonville

  • @HUGEADVANTAGE CAM NEWTON = JAMARCUS RUSSELL CAM NEWTON = JAMARCUS RUSSELL

  • @HUGEADVANTAGE If the draft wasn't so weak qb wise neither one of them would be concidered going top 10, or even top 20 in a good qb year. I don't see either one of them taking a team to the superbowl, unless they're on a team with a kick ass defense who can get them there, like the one Trent Dilfer had.

  • @sevinzou A little EARLY for that kind of talk dont you think? There was a young fella from Tennessee named Peyton "something" who went to Indy and the fans wanted his head on a stick for the 1st two years he was there. I heard he turned out to be pretty good. I think that Tom Brady guy was drafted in the 6th round because nobody thought he would ever take a team to the SuperBowl either..what is it 4 rings now? Hmmm, I'm just sayin' lets give these kids a chance first. Put your shovel away.

  • @bunkman64 Doesn't matter, Peyton was a legitimate top ten pick in any draft, obviously. If Gabbert gets as quality an O-line as Brady had throughout, which gets ZERO credit, then it will make Gabbert alot more effective. Of course Gabbert wont have spygate or the 'tuck rule' to help him out in the middle of the playoffs, so saying he will accomplish what Brady or Peyton "something" has is rediculous. Get over yourself, I didn't bury him, he's good but in a weak qb draft.

  • @sevinzou Peyton didn't have anything when he came out of college, same as Brady. It took time to develop as it will with Baline. And I NEVER said he would accomplish what they did now did I? I was merely stating that you should give the kid time to see what he has..we don't know yet and neither do YOU so "get over" YOURself. He OBVIOUSLY was a legitimate top ten pick because he WAS PICKED there. At one point he was considered the top pick in the draft so where do u get ur info from?

  • @bunkman64 Well you mentioned their accomplishments so...again, Peyton would've been top ten in any draft and Gabbert barely was in this one, cant really compare them. I didn't say BG would be a bust, and not have a career. Todd Blackledge was a top 10 pick so how is it so obsurd to say I don't see either Newton or Gabbert taking a team there on their own? They're both going to need help with either a great D like Dilfer had or good D and top O-line like Brady, how are you arguing that?

  • @sevinzou Well to answer you question..I find it obsurd (as you say) because we dont know anything about what these kids will develop into yet. NO player (including Tebow) can take a team there on his own. Football is the ultimate team sport. And for the record, I'm not arguing with you about that..I agree 100%.

  • @bunkman64 Right on, but please understand I'm not burying him with a shovel. I'm saying I don't see him carrying a team: Elway, Marino, Manning, Kelly or Warner. See him more as a Dilfer, Brad Johnson, McMahon or Eli Manning efficient but defense moreso than qb play gets them to SB. Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, Sam Bradford, Matt Stafford, Roethlsberger were all better qb's imo the time of their draft. Could I be wrong, yeah, it's just how I see it now. Newton, Tebow meh Gabbert's better than both.

  • @bunkman64 all i know is missouri sux dont know why people evern watch them waste of time

  • @mercdaddy I have to agree, I'm not a Missouri fan, I am a South Carolina Gamecock fan. I just think he has the maturity and tools to succeed, in time. Unlike some who's fathers sold their kids to the highest bidder. Not mentioning any names, but it rhymes with Cam Newton.

  • @bunkman64 Gabbert has an advantage over all of them however, minus Brady, since a decent team traded up to get him at #10, so he's already on a much better team than the typical team with a top ten pick. He should atleast have a better career than Newton, which I believe he will anyway.

  • @sevinzou I can DEFINATELY agree with that.

  • look at 00:13 he missed the Play Action Fake..look at his footwork, he throws alot off his back foot..I still dont see what all the HYPE is about..there hasnt been a dominant Athletic Qb like in the league YET, but doesnt mean it CANT happen..still dont see how Gabbert is superior to Newton..i think its the Other Way Around..Cam Newton #1 to the Panthers!

  • @StackBreadTV

    Michael Vick...

  • @StackBreadTV Gabbert has it from the neck up where Newton does not. Watch John Grudens interview with him and then with Gabbert..you'll see what I mean. Brains and skill make it in the NFL. Both of these young QB's have the skill..but only Gabbert has both.
