Is He a good Judge? Would a good and just judge just let someone who committed a crime walk away without payment? so we have to accept the gift not just live a good life!

i LOVE this song! there is a youth ministry at my home town that im in and we did glow in the dark dodge ball for the youth in our town! @etsch146 How can you just say "no its not" when it very clearly is petty and childish for an apparently "all-merciful" God to burn those who don't love him enough? When your ex broke up with you, you wanted to make her miserable for not loving you like you loved her, right? Is that good? No. That's the bad side of humanity, yet we say that God should act like that?!
Bottom line: God is supposed to be beyond human emotions. Then why does he act as petty, childish, and vengeful as they do?

So you chose to forgive your ex, but God says "Why should I forgive you?" Wouldn't being the most merciful being in the entire universe mean that he forgives much better than human beings? It seems he's actually the opposite. If God needs obligations or reasons to forgive then he's not the most merciful.

He is the ultimate good, and yet he's petty enough to save all the Christians who may sin every day. but not the other religious people who may do good deeds every day. I'm a volunteer surgery tech who works 8 hours every day (except weekends) to save people's lives. But your God will throw me in Hell because I didn't believe in him, that's not petty at all.

The difference I ask for forgivness and try to live for God which is why I will not go to hell. Weather you like it or not we are on this Earth to serve God and spread his message. God is God he has to judge us righteously for what we have done. God loves us but there is still punishment for our sins. that is when Jesus came in and paid the price by dieing for us and rising again to defeat death and give us, humans, a way to be with God, forever. and God is so pleasing to those who truly desire him that we want to worship him with love

@mavriksfan11 yes if everyone did not accept the gift of eternal life by believing that Jesus died and rose again then because of our sins our punishment is hell. now those who don't go to hell are those who gave their life to God, surrendered their will, believed in Jesus and what he had done for us. its Grace. the gift of eternal life and its free for everyone to accept but turning to God to turn away from worldly desires is hard. but SO WORTH IT. :)

@RjWag123 That's not what God says though. His mercy absolves you of sin. So if I rape and kill an entire city of people, and then repent and do good until I die, I go to heaven. If I do good all my life but don't believe in God, I get to enjoy torture forever.
Mercy can only go so far, and any rational, loving God would extend it those outside his faith since he loves all humans equally.

i LOVE this song! there is a youth ministry at my home town that im in and we did glow in the dark dodge ball for the youth in our town! (awesomeness!) but they had a part where alot of the couselors and leaders grabbed the dodgeball and cornered up all the youth in the middle and threw balls at us really hard and they played this song and it was really cool. that was the first time i heard the song! lol! its amazing! =)
