I'm basically the same as you, living on a dairy farm in NZ, in Karaka, Auckland. Tinker'er in the shed. I've got a stock 1600 engine (although the original owner says its an 1835cc) with a couple of alterations, bigger carb, alternator kit, chromey parts which are only for looks, and new parts like fuel pumps and the lot. Black 66' with 8 spoke American Eagle Empi mags. Wish I could send you photo's but don't know how without giving my email address to the world
@omfgursodumb It's a home made setup, you can see it in my recent vid where I removed the engine, header setup is same design as a WRX EJ20 turbo setup, 2.5" highflow cat and a 12" long straight through 2.5" mercury turbo muffler. sounds alot better in person.

I noticed that. I'm running air conditioner to another. 10 minutes the engine stutters on and off my engine check lamp. Or maybe because I have a column clock problem. (It works fine up to 1000 loathed. above it is not look like he's stuck.) It affects computer performance vehicles.? Thank you. Great

You seem an expert. I have a Subaru Impreza 1.6 94. I have two questions. Social the plugin. Black and showed error 35. (canister). I checked it and it correctly. 44 Om. He closes vacuum. Opens, and liquidity. I did a test with the green connector. Travel in all normal. I wanted to delete the problem connecting two black authors black and green to green. But the problem is not deleted. This is a problem because I have error traveling with Air. After 10 minutes. The engine stutters. Check lamp tu
@sa997 Make sure that the rubber hoses that join the metal pipes between the charcoal canister and the purge valve and also the purge valve to the throttle body are not splitting anywhere or disconnected. After 17 years they would be getting hard and perished. That will cause air leaks which can make the engine stumble when the valve opens.

A few mates have done it but there is alot more work in it, the quad cam engines need the body cut up heaps more and the gearbox moved forward.
Also a gearbox that wont break costs more to build than my entire conversion cost.
