Ikr I bought it and I don't have curly hair I have th waves type when I used this idiot the heavy and super sticky feeling to this is awefull it didn't work well for me either.my tip would be after the shower spray it and then DONT BLOW DRY IT . AFter its dry then straighten it . Hope this way works =)

i have been using this ever since i saw it on tv and it has worked perfectly everytime and i always use it the night before and sleep on it and it looks the same the results last three days with touch ups at the ends were it curls a bit

it probaby just felt really sticky beacause you put too much in and it probably was really hard to straighten because you didnt dry it properly

It work for me and I have the same curls as you but more frizzy. You should try some coconut oil while using it because for me it makes it less dry and you should probably try shampooing before, oraganix shampoos are great!

maybe you used too much of the spray. if you try it again try and use fewer sprays of the product and it might work better!

I used it and it was fine. I didnt use protectant, didnt damage my hair, was a little hard to get through the hair, but if you go slower it helps it get straighter faster. I didnt blow dry straight, and used a chi for straightening, maybe varies from straightener??

I think it looked fine! I really don't see the problem obviously if u sleep on it your gonna get a wave when I sleep on my hair it puffs up like a balloon so if my hair was like that when I woke up I would be like ssssssoooooooooo over joyed Lmfao but I'm not trying to offend u everyone has their own oppinion and I thought u looked very pretty after u woke up

I feel your pain!! My hair is just as curly as yours! & it did the exact same thing to me! It made my hair feel so nasty, & then it didnt even work! I may try it again tomorrow but after watching yours & knowing that I didnt do anything wrong & it was the product. It just plain out annoyed me! It made my hair so knotted & it looked greasy & nasty. Gah! Made for curly hair my butt!

Ohh!! I dont really understand the direction!! We only use it on day 1!! and leave it there until they 3!! We dont have to use it everyday right!!.. @pechuot94 For me, I didn't mainly because it made the process so difficult and my hair did not stay straight. But like I said, I may have been doing something wrong that made it not work right. Best thing to do it try it and hope it works for you! If not, you should be able to return it :)

@alyssax115 It takes me about 2 hours for the whole process, that includes the blow drying and all too. I have a video on how I straighten my hair. I think its called Straightening Curly Hair or something.

The Paul Mitchell straightener goes up to 400 degrees. I put it on about 350. Its a pretty good straightener, but I'm wondering if it has something to do with why it won't stay straight all day. I've heard good things about the KQC one and the GHD that they keep hair straighter longer.

That doesn't look frizzy at all. I have extremely frizzy hair, when its humid my hair goes really wavy and then frizy, to the point where i have all the little wispies sticking up, nothing like what yours looks like. I am going to try it and I will know for sure whether it works because I live in canada where our summers are so humid you cant breathe. If this works for me I will be happy cause I usually throw mine back in the summer because of frizziness. Nothing works for me.

You focused on how hard it was to brush through and then towards the end of the video mentioned how you normally don't brush because it's hard anyways. "protects against heat damage" which was a description you read off the back of the box and then continued to use a heat protector in combination with the product. As with any chemical treatment you need to allow your hair to set. Sleeping was not a wise choice because its a semi-PERMANENT product, which is why you couldn't fix it the next day :P

@GlamMeUp8 I think your problem is that your straightener isn't on hot enough. I put mine all the way up which is 400. 350 or 370 isn't hot enough especially for your hair type. Also maybe it was just really sticky because you put to much spray in but idk

When you woke up on the first day it looked better then when you had first straightened it, no one wants scarecrow stick-stick straight hair. Your curly hair was beautiful and much prettier then when it was straight

um, it looks fine the day after, of course you're going to have to touch it up.. &you should probably condition your hair more than every 4-5 days..

@hoodrhaat I normally have to touch it up anyway, which is fine. But overall it just made the process of straightening way harder and longer. And my hair usually stays straight a little better than that.

I only straighten my hair occasionally. So when I do I leave it for about 4 days. But typically I wash and condition it every day or every other.

I have curlier hair than the person in the video. The product worked fantastic for me. I had pin straight hair for 3 days and then I washed it and used it again. Perhaps she perspires a lot in her sleep.

First of all I don't toss and turn a lot which may help. I do however live in a humid climate. I think I spray on more than it says but I divide up my hair before I spray it and then spray it on in sections and comb it through and blow dry. I use a 450 degree flat iron. The other possibility is that I let it air dry a little before application.

thanks for posting this! i looked at other videos on youtube and all i see with this product is people with basically straight hair demonstrating it. that way, you'll never know if it actually works if you use it on straight hair, so thanks for doing this demonstration! and i know how you feel, i have super thick curly long hair and i have to touch it up everyday if i want it to stay straight. i recently purchased this and im going to see if it works and if it works, i'll let you know. :)
