  • On YouTube, there's Star Trek Sound Effects. Try transporter energizing, followed by

    dematerialization, then materialization.

  • If I could find out how to add the sound of it energizing I would tell it.

  • That is too cool. Who the hell would hit the dislike button? Maybe Lucas watched this and got jealous because it's better than ILM stuff.

  • Nice work!

  • WOW!!! AWESOME+1

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • If you can, you should find a sound chip and program it with the sound of the transporter being energized, and tie it into one of the three sliders.

  • OMG ME WANT

  • all u need r sound effects when pressing buttons

  • outstanding work....... very nice...... I'm jealous

  • Amazing authenticity.

  • very nice...if only transporting people were real.

  • Awesome... You did great work...

  • All you need is that $3000 captains chair replica

    and youre set

  • it looks absolutely beautiful!!!! where did you get the measurements? WOW!! "Beam me up there is no intelligent life here." hahahah

  • Awesome!!!

  • cool

  • MARRY ME

  • Yeah, but does it work?

Just teasing. I wouldn't have known it from the original, it looks great.

A suggestion though, if you plan to film using this as a prop, I would slow the flashing of the buttons. They would be visually distracting in a shot. They draw attention away from the charactors. Seeing this, now I realize why the lights sequenced so slowly on the bridge. Had they been faster, they would have been really distracting.

  • That looks great. Did you just work up the size's on your own or did you have a set of drawings to go by. Is there a group for Star Trek props like this, I know they do Kirks chair. Would like to get involved with this. Thanks Jeff "Steeljaws game room" video...

  • Yeah - wow!

  • that is a extremely great replica

  • This is def cool, but what does one do with something like this in their basement after a few weeks?

  • wow

  • What in there is making so much noise?

  • yowza!

  • Nice.

Did you use the Franz Joeph book for reference?

  • Excellent job, looks better than the one Paramount made. You could sell these for some price!

  • Most Excellent . . . !!!

  • Awesome!

  • This is one sweet piece of work, friend. Too bad you didn't equip it with the proper sound effects... or is that your next step?

All in all, an A-1 class piece of creativity.

  • Wow that's now, that's real now

Hey, how 'bout a session? ;)

  • wow, superb!

  • O_o

    amazing

    I want one too :)

  • This is really beautiful! You're very talented...

  • that is critically freakin radical........were you on any drugs when you built it?......you musta been shitting grean terds.....dang...lol great job...i wanna jam with you dude!

  • that thing is loud!

  • Super mega cool ! I presume that your wife is a very compreensive lady !

  • Its so funny to see that big prop sitting in front of a couch in the living room. Maybe you can beem up some popcorn from the kitchen.

  • What materials did you use, and did you have any blueprints to work from?

  • Fantastic work! How did you get that cluster of rocker switches by the sliders to look so good? I haven't been able to find anything similar in my travels.

  • Let's see you put a record player in that.

  • nice work! its true jtkrules! can i buy it?

  • That's a great full size prop. I've duplicated the bridge displays, and also the transporter lightbox. Go to my videos to see flash animations of the light displays I'm building. My transporter lights would complete your console.

  • DAMN! that's nice.

Come see my Life-sized Virtual TOS Enterprise...

Can I borrow your plans to put your great work into my ship?

  • That's amazing, is it run by jet engine? What's the background noise?

  • I would venture out to think it's the air conditioning..

At least that's what it sounds like.

  • Does it work?

  • Amazing work. I read the thread at ASAP. Very cool stuff you all are doing.

BUT..(isn't there always..) dont you think the left console, the blibky boxes (like the one in the ASAP thread) is too fast? If you could slow it down I believe you have an unparalelled replics of the original. Fantastic work.

  • Love the console.
