I had a real 1987 Monte Carlo SS with a shifter on the column with the 60/40 bench seat. The definitely make real SS' without the floor shifter.

Thanks bro some people are just fucking idiots and dont know a thing! But my car was originally a floor shifter but i have seen multiple with column shifter!! when i took the car apart for paint the center console was stolen from my buddy paint warehouse the originalcolumn was also out to chrome it or paint and it and it was stolen since it had a clean ss steerting wheel so i used this one which i found on ebay but mine was a floor shifter per the rpo codes in trunk

Go with a 200 4r from a grand national ttype or a 442 the 200-4r BRF code transmission is way better than a 700r in my opinion google it 200r vs 700r but make sure its a brf or brz code 200 do some research and you'll end up with what you want..

im guessing because at that time i had just installed the msd so i was adjusting the air/fuel on the carb and checking the plugs to make sure it wasnt burning to rich or lean. i had the filter new in the box in the trunk but most of the time on any carb engine i dont use a filter to be honest.. the car wasnt a daily..

@zxdr2 its a custom mixed metallic tri coat i know the base color came from factory as a 2008 gm color. tell you one thing i'll never spend so much money on painting a car again frame off to bare metal.. and to get those body lines so perfect cost me about 7800. just sold the car and didnt even get that back
