  • I hope that in 1000 years people can again see and especially hear the songs of ABBA to show of this so beautiful period that we were lucky to live.

  • What anthem will ever be better?

  • My favorite ABBA song, unfairly not as well known as their big hits. I would hear it played during the early morning hours of dance clubs in the 80's, when the lyrics reminded my friends & I of whom we were with & whom was sadly no longer with us. Beautiful song, just beautiful.

  • i love this song been playing it a long time on differant sites , it brings people together if their listen to it god bless sue

  • This song must surely be influenced by, and some would say a rip-off of, Auld Lang Syne.

  • the lyrics are incredible

  • This should be the mantra of every relationship.

  • This song reminds me of my 91-yo grandmother and me. She took care of me since I was only 2 yo and the both of us have been together by so many time- like the way old friends do!

  • Not very well known, but for me it is one of the most wonderful songs I´ve ever heard !!

  • omg. i speechless. i just love them more than anything or anyone in the world. thats no exaggeration!

  • Thank you ABBA ...for all

  • I understand the guy at 2:01 I had probably looked the same. Very beautiful when Agnetha and Frida sings solo which then grows and becomes really powerful. An amazing song that is way too underrated.

  • Good words of wisdom the world needs to listen to.

Here beautifully performed by ABBA. Thanks for posting this timeless treasure.

  • YouTube has a very serious bug......it has the dislike button for an ABBA song enabled. and three morons have already disliked this song of all songs....how does that even happen ?

Please YT....please fix it. no more dislike buttons for any ABBA song.....ever.

  • i dont care what comes tomorow,we can face it together the way old friends do,,so much powerfull words/

  • This should be the worlds anthem

  • What a beauty!

For me, ABBA remains an upright MONUMENT of Art.

    Greetings,

    Geert Dehoux, 'classical' pianist.

  • Very nice video! I love, love, love it!

  • "TIMES OF JOY - AND TIMES OF SORROW..." - and I felt every little goose pimple come up.

  • Without friends it's hard to survive.

I just love this song!!! It makes me cry, the lyrics are so beautiful...

    Just my favourite song.

  • My eyes are getting wet... What a beautiful song... I love you, Agnetha....

  • Linda cañção do ABBA !!! Obrigada por dividir ...

  • I heard this at the time the tall ships entered the Port of Amsterdam for Sail2010 and that combi is epic!

  • i'm driving every body nust here, my brother don't consider this music, my mom's oppinion is that abba is not really the music to listen to for a 18 year old lad these days.

and well, i just don't give a (.....beep......).

  • @royraaijmakers really cool hearing you listening to ABBA. I so much like the group, too. It's really one of the best music ever made. Thank you for the music, ABBA....

  • Such talent! Such togetherness and professionalism. This is LIVE! Voice pitches spot on! Long, legato phrases... and what more can I say... it's SO brilliant. I don't think they actually knew how good they were... top song writers, top musicians and singers... it seems to me that they were not there for so long... but the IMPACT they had... WOW!

  • aww benny and frida <3

  • this is one of my favorite songs by ABBA. I love this song

  • True friends are hard to find, harder to leave and impossible to forget them!

  • I first heard this around the time that a very dear friend of mine passed away at the age of 34, 25th of February 1979, eighteen days younger than I was. It gets me every time.

  • wonderful song

  • this song is so majestic i get chills down my spine. the young people today don't know what they're missing. thanks for this great video.

  • Wow, goose bumps and misty eyes...thank you ABBA, and thank you for the posting Shay.

  • Waooo. I did not know this song. It's fantastic. It's seems an Irish song ... With two Angel voices ...

  • aBSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!

  • My best friend aged 34, eighteen days younger than me, died of a heart attack when this was popular in the UK, it always reminds me of him A fine man, still miss him.

  • Aaaw, Frida is so sweet holding Benny.

  • This makes me wish I had a time machine so that I could go back to be present at one of their concerts !!!

  • They have the voices of ANGELS when they sing!!! ABBA and Celtic Woman are two of my FAVORITE musical groups EVER!!!!! And THIS song is beautiful!!!!! I looove ABBA!!!!!

  • Howdy Shay, This is such a moving song and their closeness exhibited during this number gives extra meaning to the lyrics. Thanks for a great posting.

    Be Happy, Lenny

  • Wonderfull. Angel Voices.

  • thank you so much for this priceless contribution to our feelings

  • and you are so mean!

  • ABBA is a best POP-Group of 20th Century!!!

  • And of 21th century.

  • Yes' of course!

ABBA is best POP-Group off all times!

  • @Caesar191 ABBA is THE best pop-group ever! (;

  • @CallmeXtina80 Even when I'll die ABBA will be the best POP-group of all my life!

  • @Caesar191 I'm afraid that is the best of the 21th Century, too!

  • Great song and performance, I like the way Frida was holding Benny,so loving. They have been through a lot of rough times together and, indeed, lots of misunderstandings and quarrels, but hey, that's life. In the end, though, they brought so much joy to other people.

  • Frida was not the ''girl with golden hair'' but she sure was the ''girl who catched the handsome one'' : ))

  • hmm my comment didn't appear...I was saying that Frida looked kinda stressed in the beginning (undertandable) because we can read in her lips while she have her hand on her forehead "okay okay okay" :P

And I really looooove this song, and they are so sweet singing it :) thanks Shay

  • you're a poor lip and mind reader

  • thank you agnetha,bjorn,benny & anni-frid!

    ABBA FOREVER!

  • When I was younger I hated this song; I was much more into the Take A Chance On Me and The Day Before You Came. But getting older changes your outlook. I've lived a life now, and so had they. Goosebumps. X

  • Awesome, I have no words...!

  • this song is one of my absolute favorites ... i love it^^

  • Sent chills up the ole spine!!!

  • This isn't ABBA's best song. It's the whole world's best song!

  • Gosh I love this video...why havent i seen it before...what a performance

  • Thanks to all for the fine comments

  • @2Shaymcn ur gonna get beatz!

  • Shay somehow I missed this one and it is my favorite! So nice to see a clean clear copy of it. Just took your hand to make it

    Jim

  • Glad you spotted it Jim awesome live version!

  • Aren't these lyrics as uplifting and concilliatory as any song you know?

  • Abba always new how to bring people together as thing song shows. It is so moving and they look so sweet. 5*****

  • This song touches the heart ... it really puts the dream of seeing ABBA reunited and performing again into a hopeful perspective!

Their gift of music was, indeed, a gift to the world that embraced them! Agnetha and Frida were the harmonic angels of ABBA! Benny and Bjorn, the talent duo that created the lyrical masterpieces! There has never been an act like them since! This song is one of their many treasures!!!

  • Four voices, one Abba.

  • What a wonderful and sensational performance!!

  • what a song wonderful one of the best song sang live

  • what lovely song and moment !!

  • una de mis favoritas canciones de abba

  • Out of all their hits, if they ever reunited again for one song only, I'd like to see them stand on stage and sing this together... like they once did.

  • @sampmiller I hadn't heard this song before I just bought More ABBA Gold but have to agree with you! There's something really moving about this. Old friends will remain so and never die,

It does sound like an Irish song imo, like Auld Lang Syne or something.

  • I like this vid too...but there is one little snag...it has a reedited backing track for the second part;/ I had a rough version which is IMHO better...

  • Thanks, I must check it out

Also the version from Milwakee is too not bad for a bootleg

  • I'm not sure Shay, but right at the end...you have to look real close, does Bjorn have his arm around Aggy? I've got zoom on my mouse and It sure looks like he does. This performance is best as it is right here, live!

  • At 3.29 & 3.46 you can see it Jim, and at 2.58 when their eyes meet, its kinda moving considering the lyrics. Youve been highlighting some of their great live tracks so Im just keeping the vibe going

  • I saw the part were their eyes met, it was a moving part to be sure. I thought at first that I was seeing things because after their split they always kept a good arms distance apart.

  • @ji61m I concur. That is what I see also. I miss this band and their performances deeply. :(

  • I am just getting back up to speed after losing the Internet for a day. Darn comcast! I love this vid a lot Shay! For some reason it is emmotional to me... But in a good way. Thanks for the upload Shay!

  • I lost mine yesterday and had to uninstall a microsoft update to get it back working

There is a positive vibe here Dallas,I love the lyrics in this one

  • both clip and audio is fantastic Shay, this I enjoyed very much! thanks for sharing!

  • I thought it would be nice to see this again Elin, with some old friends getting back together again

  • Great job Shay,,,all the other copie I have seen were really dark and jumppy you seem to have a good version of it. As I said the master at vidseos

  • Thanks Jim, Got this straight from the 'In Concert' DVD, It deserves to be up in good quality, a performance like this

  • Thanks Shay-you never cease to amaze and delight me-Ireland must truly be the enchanted kingdom!! Thanks for sharing this

  • Only about 11 miles Shay!

  • 11 short miles Bill

This is a great tune! solemn and touching.

  • Glad to put up the best quality I can mauveyts,Its in my top 10 too, merci
