We're singing this in our All-County choir this year, but we're doing it all A Capella, so it'll be interesting! I'm so excited!! Great job by the way.
this was our SC all state song too. it was one of my favorites. Until we song Hallelujah Praise the Lord. But this song just brings back some nice memories. it was so fun learning this song. thanks for posting
That's amazing that you guys are still using this song for All-State. I went as a Sophomore in 2000, and this was our song too. I had the 2nd soprano and it's still ingrained in my mind! Lol! Have fun. It's a great song and you'll always remember it.
i have all state auditions on monday, and i have to do this song, its so hard, especially like remembering where i go in, cus soprano 1s start after like 21 measures :(
thank-you for posting this! I totally have to learn the soprano part, and I am just afraid of singing it wrong or something.lol, I know what Bach's keyboard's music sound like but don't-know how that would apply to voice! anyway that was really good!
Tempo is too slow.

@joeobo1 Are you talking about the part after the unison of the Hallelujahs? I am struggling at that spot.

I sang this song to get into the South Carolina all state choir in 1992.
I attended Socastee High, I can't belive 16 years later the same audition piece.

They have 3 pieces that they rotate every 3rd year. "Honor and Glory" is one of those.

Pretty good. I would just be careful with your vowels because they're sounding a little spread. It was too slow for my liking, but good job.

Awesome song. We did this in choir years ago but without the piano accompaniment--what a distraction.
