@crazyman00012 i dont know what he sais , if you read the comments below and my description under the video it sais the sound is bad on him , many of them had this default , we tried many things to fix it like changing the speaker on him and it didnt work properly still so we cut his sound wires .
@chantou8 That's the reason i did not purchase this prop, as i was going to but from the display they had, his sound was horrible and really loud. But if it's not the speaker it could be the circuit board, but in my opinion i would have to advise not to mess around with it as these props aren't made very good. And could damage the head movement or the red eyes. My Pinhead prop has no sound either, but that was just the speaker and i fixed it.
@khalixman thanks for all the info , i too this week took the speaker out and tested another speaker and it sounded the same i told my husband must be the circuit board that is messed up and he didnt want to play in there in case he damadge the head movement or eyes light , i'll see what i can do .
Nicely done. I used a passive direct box to match the impedance of the crummy speaker down to line level and ran it through a (decent) M-Audio powered speaker. It made an improvement, but it sounds like you did the right thing by bypassing the amplifier.
tell me about it LOL sounds like batteries going dead and he's electric lol....too bad because he looks real cool ...i think they all sound like this i saw another one demo and sounds the same as mine :(
@teecee2468 well i am happy for you ...you got lucky ...i saw one at walmart this week sound as crappy as mine then went to rona and the demo one sounds crappy too pffffffff ....
whats that sound supposed to be at 0:11 to 0:18? sounds like an elephant..lol

BAD NEWS: Mine had exactly the same problem last year - very disappointing! Emailed the company, they basically said "too bad"...
GOOD NEWS: I did some simple surgery today and now the sound is awesome! Here is what I did:
1. traced the speaker wires to the circuit board, found the amplifier IC (TDA2822L).
2. snipped those wires
3. soldered 2 new wires to pins 6 & 7 of this IC
4. connected those wires to an external amplifier (I used some computer speakers)
WORKS GREAT NOW!
