We had an ocean view room in category GG and still it was way below other cruise ships.
Pacific Sun is old and rusty - if you're a teen or 20 something wanting to get smashed and party - maybe this is for you. But if you enjoy travel and your environment - go for a better class of ship.
I sailed on this ship for 7 days in December 2011 and it was bloody awful!!
The ship was rusty and old fashioned and dark, very dark.
There was hardly any public areas except for dark gloomy bars with no views or beside the pool with yobbos and out-of-control kids - not kidding.
The Lido buffet was equal to a Coles cafeteria from the 70s and the decore was abyssmal, 80s at best. The lifts were tiny, smelly and slow and the linen was old and stained - YES, old and stained. Towels were musty.
