I just bought a sun catfish and it's around 7". How big is yours, and how big do you think they'll get?

mine is around a foot long, had him since he was a baby. i think they grow up to 18 inches, but google sun catfish and it will tell you alot about them. thanks

i think it should be fine. just dont put semi aggressive fish in with them or tiger barbs.

they would be fine but dont put like a jaguier cichlid with it and other chiclids unless thrier boulivian rams but 14 fish would be fine in a 55gallon

How fast do sun cats usually grow?

I was thinking about getting 2, but they will be like 2 inches when i do...tiny.

thanks, i had him for a year now and he is 10 inches, when i got him he was only 2 inches. feed them black worms, it makes fish grow alot faster.
