you are correct in your thinking ,The Rocking Berries carried on for many years after the sixties on the cabaret circuit , these came from one of those in the late seventies if MY memory serves me correct .

glad to see some people listening to the classics, my dad was in the berries, he played a gig recently at brum rocks in birmingham town hall.....

When were these versions recorded? These aren't the hit versions from the 1960s...they sound like remakes from a later point in time.

they are still play concerts in the UK and you can see them now on their own myspace page. The band has 2 original members -
includes Geoff Turton who sang on the original hits

Poor Man's Son...was far and away their best song.
Avery talented band,but swamped by other bands of their own era....thankyou nevertheless for posting this "trichoone"...pure nostalgia.
