Well, I'll expand on 123H3JD's insightful comment: It's true, besides the Bible, we cannot be assured that Jesus is God. In further addition, it still perplexes me that there are so many religions that honor God- and yet they all have their contradictions, and ambiguity.
But of course, that is undeniably why there are so people who claim to be atheist for that particular reason. What God does is not unjust, or evil, or capricious, or malovelent, as we all seem to thoughlessly label. If He chooses to do something, it is RIGHT.
