  • not true. my mac is 3 years old. and it looks just like the new ones. The new ones have a better video card. they can come with more ram. but I can upgrade all that crap for cheap.

  • I hate everyone who's arguing about what level different coding languages are. Stop being so autistic, please!

  • There is much truth in this.

  • Solid Snake at the end.

  • Hahaha, this is brilliant. Nice work.

  • thats retarded though. macs upgrade very well. which is why some of the powerbook G3's even ran modified versions of leopard. thats an 8 year old machine running a brand new OS. in other words, thats like a win98 machine running vista.

  • @gallagherm1993 I think the idea was PC upgraded some hardware so he could run his new OS. Mac just got replaced

  • @gallagherm1993 no that's like a xp machine running vista.

  • wow you can sooooo upgrade a mac

    gosh no one understands that

  • upgrade the gfx and cpu of an imac.

  • @JakesTechBox

yeah, if by upgrade you mean donate your old one and spend $800 for a new one.

  • @zodiacdragoon actually no you can upgrade a mac soo easily

like a new os and more ram a bigger hard drive and stuff like that

so i dont understand why everyone isnt understanding this

I have a mac book pro and have replace my hard drive

  • first of all, an os is simple a piece of software, so i would hope that upgrading in that sense would be a breeze.

also, macs are designed such that all the components are contained within a single sheet of metal. while this increases stability (especially in laptops) it greatly decreases the ability to modify and replace hardware.

so, while a pc user could upgrade hardware with ease, a mac user risks destroying the entire machine. this has always been an Achilles heel for Macs as a whole.

  • @zodiacdragoon HAAH! You are ridiculous. All you need to upgrade a mac is a couple of screws and the hardware.

  • ppl, calm down. this is a comedy video, not a "which is better" discussion forum.

  • true true

  • Devs can use c++ (Carbon) or objective C (Cocoa), or lots of other languages to make apps for mac. Apple is pushing for devs to use cocoa on Xcode, because there is more support.

  • yeah, but if you hot wire the input valves and enter code 0010110101 into the binary matrix and derive the C-drive from the B-drive then you can make at least 2 cups of coffee...

    lol

  • @junh1024 nice soo true

    no one understands that

  • in fact upgrading to a diffrent version of osx is way easier than upgrading windows

  • but different versions of OSX are very different form different versions of windows

that's not really a fair comparison

a fair comparison, would be more like different versions of OSX and Service Packs on Windows

XP - Vista is a complete OS change

from leopard to snow leopard its just like a service pack with some slight GUI changes and run time corrections (and big bug fixes :P)

  • Upgrading Windows with a Service Pack is damn near brainless.

  • I almost soaked my chair @ this one

  • vista doesn't suck, the computer they are running it on sucks.

  • amen to that

  • @EekuumBokuum sry but i have 2 go w/ the mac fuckboys here, vista is alot buggier than xp. luckly windows 7 is out and it fixes everything :D

  • @EekuumBokuum That doesn't even make sense.. so if you beef up the specs an enormous amount, the software automatically gets better?

  • @EekuumBokuum it does its all show and no go

  • @EekuumBokuum I really liked the User Account Control (Black Screen + Yes/No), it was more secure. But people didn't know what it was

  • llooll

  • the funniest thing about vista is that people downgrade for the stupidest reasons

"the 'are you sure' dialog"=1 minute fix+boot time

"its too slow"=upgrade your computer (because the minimum hardware reqs mean something)

"my stuff won't work"=try vista drivers, not xp drivers

    "its too different"=live with it

    anything else?

  • i forgot the fact that all that crashing is because of different reasons than vista (bad hardware, driver issues, etc.)

  • that guy at the end with the wierd voice.. is... lame... i have not found a single thing he said even REMOTLEY humerous..

  • His name is "The Closer" - he doesn't like you either.

    ^JD3

  • @TrueNuff that guy is awsome! i even did a prank call: "is your computer running" a few times.

  • @TrueNuff hmm I thought it was Chester The Molester

  • @iymovies93 true man he so cheesy and obviously trying to sound cool and funny when its obvious hes a geeky fag! i wish he wasnt at the end of all the videos

  • @iymovies93 thats because you use a mac

  • @iymovies93 He is too busy eating water to care

  • 0:53 - 1:02

    wtf... lol

  • vista really sucks!!! no point!! just asks for more RAM on game requirements

  • It's funny because it's true.

  • I don't like how mac OSX just makes you buy the next version shortly after you pay for the original version. You don't get upgrades, you just buy a new OS.

  • so like mac fans, can you have a little, almost small or nothing human humor sense?

  • That's not true. Not everyone can afford expensive Macs. Like in third world countries, they usually prefer to upgrade pcs and stretch their uses for many years. It's not just gamers. Schools in the provinces of Southeast Asia, could better afford upgradeable PCs.

  • Btw everybody in finland have money for some mac but even they don't ever use mac because it sucks :D they use pc. and btw linux os is finnish but most finnish peoples use windows with pc but that's maybe just because linux doesn't have almost any advertisement because they don't want to make- or use money for some reason. btw i haven't seen almost ever some windows commercial but mac is advertising sometimes and it doesn't even help them and everybody uses windows

  • :D I don't know if mac sucks, but in my country only the rich kids buy them. Or sometimes if your job involved graphics or video editing, your office lends you a pretty macbook. But more of the time, people - not just gamers but students, those in the provinces, the average consumer uses PC because it's most affordable. And because it's what they're comfortable with.

  • I use a PC and I hardly play any games, if at all. :)

  • "and btw linux os is finnish...because they don't want to make- or use money for some reason."

The Linux kernel was written by Linus Torvalds who was Finnish so you are correct in this sense. "Linux OS" has multiple meanings however; e.g. GNU/Linux isn't really Finnish.

That said, there is no individual company that creates and solely drives Linux development. Major contributors include Google, IBM, Red Hat, Novell, etc., all of which make money through Linux usage.

  • well linux is finnish but most of the guys doing it are from other countries. btw i guess that american's didn't make microsoft themselves there must be some japanese nerds with them and bill gates isn't doing anything anymore. but i guess linus torvalds still do at least something with the linux

  • Canonical distributes Ubuntu, but they're non-profit.

  • WTF Finnish? noob, there are many different linux distributions, but the Linux kernel is not finnish, they might have a special distribution modification with the Finnish languages, etc, or how other distributions have little offshoots like UbuntuSE, or PSUbuntu. and, to get your facts straight, unless refering to the raw Linux kernel, try saying the name of the distro that your talking about, ex: Ubuntu 9.04, SuSE 11.0, Fedora 9, etc.

    N00B

  • Correction: the linux kernel was written by a finnish man, however the kernel was and is written in english and based in the U.S., however it is worldwide and open source.

  • LOL The linux kernel is written in C, not english! It's a worldwide effort, and not really based in any 1 nation.

  • yea, but how many programs in C have all Japanese characters? xactly, but u r rite. and it is worldwide, however, I would say there are probably more U.S. users than any other country.

  • Actually I think the 2 biggest linux nations are China and India. I think you'll find that Linux has a much deeper saturation in countries that can't afford a copy of Windows or OS X.

That being said, I can't promote Linux enough. It's a wonderful OS.

  • fair enough, but I hear about some crazy sht in the middle east, they pirate windows, with cracks. I know because I have a friend who got a copy of vista (any edition) with a crack, and he said he got it from the middle east

  • You must be new to programming. Most OS's were written in c. Why? Because it's the most powerful low level LANGUAGE. The LANGUAGE gets COMPILED to run on different machines.

  • Linux and older (ie. not vista) windows are also written in C. C is not just for macs. C is a LANGUAGE that can be COMPILED to run on any MACHINE or OS. C++ can just as easily be compiled to run on a mac as C for windows or any other OS.

Also, in terms of syntax, C and C++ may be similar, but in use, there are huge differences. No garbage collection and no classes is a big deal.

  • but now c is mostly macs and pc is mostly c++

there almost the same they have some codes that are the same

do u know both codeing languages

  • @Whanhee C is a high level Language, there is only one Low level language and that's Assembly Code.

  • @ShasLaMontyr Actually some people call C a "middle level language". It can do both high level programming and low level instructions.

  • c++ is for pc but macs use objective c

  • @fruad macs use both

  • @fruad c++ is posix

  • linus torvalds is finnish guy who started to make linux but of course he haven't done all! do you think that one person can do good and working operating system.. like steve jobs or bill gates -.- they haven't done almost anything at least not anymore

  • dude this is the funniest video out of all the spoofs

and you know wat else is funny

all this arguing over Pc and Mac get over it

these people wont understand that pc rules :P

    lol

  • lol

  • i lol'd when they shot Mac

  • oh yeah Vista, you gotta love it

  • Dude! I just noticed something!

The new Mac is the same actor who plays Linux!

    HOLY SHIT!

THANK YOU HIGH QUALITY! I never would have noticed that otherwise.

  • Yeah. Also the MAC OS X comes from the word LinuX because it has a UNIX kernel, that is half open source.

  • Yeah, wow, I guess it has nothing to do with the fact that Mac OS X is the tenth version of Mac OS.

  • OSX is a totally different thing. Why do you think no body even talked about Macs until OSX came out?

  • Dude, neither did Final Fantasy. Then GASP! Final Fantasy X. The tenth FF game. Followed by Final Fantasy 11 and 12. What's your excuse now?

  • ASS, when they translated Japan->English, they didn't translate them exactly in order of how they were made (DO SOME RESEARCH) PLUS we're talking about OSs here! Not some stupid game, where they were translated/programmed out of order. Plus, that really was not the 10th ff game, in japan it was 8th or something. plus, that game was for a freaking promo, the reason why there was an X is because the people down there thought it would be 'cool' like back in the 90s was eXtreme, adding the coolness

  • "Final Fantasy X (ファイナルファンタジーX, Fainaru Fantajī Ten?) is a console role-playing game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) as the tenth installment in the Final Fantasy series. It was released in 2001 for Sony's PlayStation 2."

    I win. Eat a dick.

  • You must be an ass, as you clearly don't know why it was called X. How many games do you know end in 10? It's called marketing. By the way, you win nothing but fail. Pure and tasty fail.

  • That's not the point, the point was that it was the tenth game and they called it X instead. Same with the TENTH version of Mac OS. Yes, it IS called marketing. Congrats, you just made yourself look retarded. Obviously, you're the failure here. GG, now GTFO.

  • "that really was not the 10th ff game, in japan it was 8th or something. "

You mean in America. It was labeled Final Fantasy 10 because it was the 10th game in Japan. The Japanese versions of Final Fantasy 2 (II) and Final Fantasy 3 (III) had not been released in the U.S. This is irrelevant however because after Final Fantasy IV (shipped as Final Fantasy II), they simply reverted back to including Japanese releases (hence Final Fantasy V in Japan was still Final Fantasy V in the U.S.)

  • "you really are an idiot, aren't you? The X doesn't stand for 10...."

    1. It isn't spelled UniX. The proper trademark is UNIX and in terms of OS design it is usually called Unix.

    2. It is unrelated to Linux which isn't Unix-based.

    3. Mac OS X RUNS on Darwin which in turn runs on XNU (X Not Unix) which is based on a mixture of Mach and the BSDs (primarily FreeBSD).

    4. X is Roman numeral 10. X can stand for many things but "10" is the most logical considering it is succeeding Mac OS 9.

  • Ha ha thats awesome! Great job guys!

  • lol. so true.

  • Gotta love how the PC gets all sad and shit for the Mac. HAHA
