Dude SHUT UP. You don't know a thing about hunting. They are hunting dogs. They assist the hunter in getting the kill. They run it down and wear it out. You can knife hunt this way as well. You just run up and slit it's throat afterwards. At least these hogs live a normal wild life vs the pinned up in there own feces pigs that are harvested and sold in stores.
I wish everything I hunted just stood still and let me walk up to it that easy. I have to sit perfectly still and make sure my target doesn't detect any sound, movement or smell from me or they are gone in a flash. Of course I don't hunt on private land either where the animals have gotten accustomed to human activity. To me this would be the same as hunting at a petting zoo. The animal could run away if it wanted to but it doesnt sense any real danger so just stands there.
Both shots were well placed,the second serving as a remarkable show of marksmanship. As an avid rifle/scattergun hunter myself, I can appreciate a good shot when I see one. Does anyone know why Pigs gnash their teeth when distressed?
What kind of boar is the first one the video? I am from Europe and our boar looks different. I know you have mixed breed between domestic pig and wild boar but this one does not look like that.
@WhompMonster Just a quick question....do you hunt, or have you ever hunted? I have been on a 10 acre property that housed over 60 hogs, and we walked through twice before seeing anything. This is done on a 1700 acre property. Tough hunting. Check out some vids from Hawaii. They DO have feral nannies (goats), and are interesting hunting. Interesting to hear your take though.

Wow I didn't realize there were so many vegetarians in the world, especially with a keen interest in hunting. I suppose it would make you feel better than watching a video of an abattoir with cage reared cattle having there throats cut. I would prefer to harvest from the wild, & there is no reason why that cannot be done professionally, or enjoyed for the skill obtained and then employed. the dogs and hunter are a team, they do not work together overnight.
Ken I think most hunters eat what they shoot, when they are hunting edible animals, and not varmits and pests. I always see the same people on here whining about hunting, and claiming no hunter eats their harvest. Do you actually know any real hunters that aren't proud to take their meat home to the freezer? @Downedworker I eat every thing i hunt the only thing i dont is squrles because they are small i do eat the bigger ones wich its hadr to find one thats edible size. Dove and quail are the main thing hunt. have gone fro mules wihte tail got one of each whent fo javalina once but i dint get one my dad did. i think all the game ive had taste good. Oh yes thak in som of the deer meat to the butch and ask for them to make jerky thats the best jerky youll ever taste.

One of my fastest growing businesses was the jerky, sausage, smokies, pepperonies etc. I can't do the cutting like I used to, but I just set my equipment up on my acreage, and am going at it again, mainly for hunting friends, and their friends. Its a great life, and I really enjoy the work, as well as meeting and visiting with hunters from everywhere. Great people.

@kroutdoors I use what I harvest. If I don't eat it, it goes to Sportsmen Against Hunger. The meat then gets processed and goes into the local food banks. I wonder how many of the hunting critics donate to the needy.

Why do they think its ok to overwhelm an animal like that? Its three on one, then theres the hero with the bow, only takes an animal on when theres not one bit of danger to them. If an american soldier was surrounded by rag heads and was about to be slaughtered, you'd be angry as fuck, but a wild animal going about its life is a diffrent story, what a coward you are, well done champ!

Dude SHUT UP. You don't know a thing about hunting. They are hunting dogs. They assist the hunter in getting the kill. They run it down and wear it out. You can knife hunt this way as well. You just run up and slit it's throat afterwards. At least these hogs live a normal wild life vs the pinned up in there own feces pigs that are harvested and sold in stores.

I wish everything I hunted just stood still and let me walk up to it that easy. I have to sit perfectly still and make sure my target doesn't detect any sound, movement or smell from me or they are gone in a flash. Of course I don't hunt on private land either where the animals have gotten accustomed to human activity. To me this would be the same as hunting at a petting zoo. The animal could run away if it wanted to but it doesnt sense any real danger so just stands there.

What kind of boar is the first one the video? I am from Europe and our boar looks different. I know you have mixed breed between domestic pig and wild boar but this one does not look like that.

@WhompMonster Just a quick question....do you hunt, or have you ever hunted? I have been on a 10 acre property that housed over 60 hogs, and we walked through twice before seeing anything. This is done on a 1700 acre property. Tough hunting. Check out some vids from Hawaii. They DO have feral nannies (goats), and are interesting hunting. Interesting to hear your take though.

Wow I didn't realize there were so many vegetarians in the world, especially with a keen interest in hunting. I suppose it would make you feel better than watching a video of an abattoir with cage reared cattle having there throats cut. I would prefer to harvest from the wild, & there is no reason why that cannot be done professionally, or enjoyed for the skill obtained and then employed. the dogs and hunter are a team, they do not work together overnight.

Ken I think most hunters eat what they shoot, when they are hunting edible animals, and not varmits and pests. I always see the same people on here whining about hunting, and claiming no hunter eats their harvest. Do you actually know any real hunters that aren't proud to take their meat home to the freezer? One last question...any idea why the people that "just hate" to see this are always searching out and watching hunting videos? Thanks for posting.

@Downedworker I eat every thing i hunt the only thing i dont is squrles because they are small i do eat the bigger ones wich its hadr to find one thats edible size. Dove and quail are the main thing hunt. have gone fro mules wihte tail got one of each whent fo javalina once but i dint get one my dad did. i think all the game ive had taste good. Oh yes thak in som of the deer meat to the butch and ask for them to make jerky thats the best jerky youll ever taste.

@Aircraftfreak155 You got that right! Until I was injured (reason for the silly name) I had a small store and meat shop. One of my fastest growing businesses was the jerky, sausage, smokies, pepperonies etc. I can't do the cutting like I used to, but I just set my equipment up on my acreage, and am going at it again, mainly for hunting friends, and their friends. Its a great life, and I really enjoy the work, as well as meeting and visiting with hunters from everywhere. Great people.

@likpit Yes my family lives on all the game we harvist, and there are many others that are very thankful that we share with them. We only buy chicken at the store, and on sale! @kroutdoors I use what I harvest. If I don't eat it, it goes to Sportsmen Against Hunger. The meat then gets processed and goes into the local food banks. I wonder how many of the hunting critics donate to the needy.
