I've heard that out of every $200,000 that a dotcor makes, he must spend $75,000 on malpractice insurance. THAT'S where the problem lies...with selfish, greedy people who will sue for millions because they had the wrong toe operated on. There really needs to be a cap on punative damages. Fix these things, and I think we'd be a whole lot better off. Bottom line, if insurance co's can't make $, they will go out of business. We forget that they are a BUSINESS! That's what they do!! Make money! Duh!

If you didn't get a hold of the bill, don't say anything. Read page 39, You keep your health care, but if you change job or lose it you go into government plan permanently. What if you broke your arm like the boy from canada? and the government said it will take 10 months to see a doctor because there arn't enough government doctors. You won't be going to blue cross or other places anymore since they will go out of business or be available only to the rich.

OK...I'll even support that, the very minute they completely eliminate ALL illegal aliens. "but illegals can't take part of the plan!" you say. Ah...but YES they can! They're not supposed to be able to, but there is no provision for verification! If a TOURIST walks into a hospital and says he's a citizen, they have to provide care.
