excellent video, excellent model. I like the colors, also South Carolinas colors just not as proud as FSU, nor as winning. REduce the control surface size on elevator and rudder. That wasn't what caused your crash though. Don't give up. Great model. Look at wing vs elevator position. Are they on the same plain. Plain not plane. EXCELLENT VIDEO, build and crash another.

the home built planes always tend to hold up to crash's sooo much better than store purchased planes. try using FOAM, it allows you to create planes in minutes.

Fantastic build too! lots of lift on that plane.

And herein lies a practical demonstration of the importance of Dihedral.

This little aeroplane had none and went, weeeeeeeee all the way down.

Aside from the lack of dihedral which made the plane unstable in flight it was a good looking little plane and I think it would have flown great otherwise. It did fly great, it was just horribly horribly twitchy.

Wing geometry was not a factor in this crash. The issue was the carbon-based servo working the controls. A weak attempt at artificial intelligence to say the least!

Great example of a pilot not yet ready for ailerons! I hope peaple will realize the dumpster scene was just a joke- most of the expensive parts are reusable after a crash, which helps to keep rc a sane hobby.
