  • Whats that extra button hole doing in the collar if the suit? I don't see any buttons corresponding to it. Is it just there for designs sake?

  • aren't they outsourcing to sweatshops in china?

  • @JOEtheHOTTIE many custom places will take your measurements and orders, and then send to 3rd parties overseas.. who then employ sweatshop labour to create your suit to spec. if youre going custom, you should ask were its going to be made, if thats something you care about.

  • wow amazing! i didn't know it took that big of a process!

  • This informational is very clear, precise and helpful. Thanks.

  • i want to do this for a living!!

  • adrian jules supplied me with my finest custom tailoring in tulsa as Terry the Tailor from 1977... its been a long time... next time I will go there personally physically to have an entire soft construction wardrobe made ..... i can't even imagine what i will write the check for! former hickey freeman customs... now Adrian Jules for Adrian Jules... ! Fabulous!

  • Great to see men's suits being made in the USA.

American athletes helping to provide jobs to skilled textile artists.

  • @christophernejman

reece 101 buttonhole machine needs attention on the foreparts,it is sewing with too few stiches in and needs the density of stitches per inch increasing,as well as a good oiling[101s love oil]

    regards

    kev s/m mechanic sunderland.

ps nice suits by the way!

  • the first guy looks like a crook!

  • he looks like a used car salesman...looks 40 with bleach blonde hair and that stupid goatee...pathetic...

  • Custom tailored suits starting at just $285!

    buyasuit . net

  • get your asian made garbage out of here

  • Hand made by machines

  • oh course. I work from home, I'm not going to say my things are homemade, they're hand made. You can't sew anything like this completely by hand. The time would be outrageous. They're even using industrial machines for the speed. There's a lot of hand sewing in a jacket though.

  • I work from a factory, i'm not going to say my things are homemade, because they are not made in my home, i'm going to say their hand made, because I can't do it with my hands but it sounds better.

  • There are companies out there that do suits ,shirts and ties entirely by hand. I mean every single stitch is put in my a person holding the cloth, thread, a needle, and a thimble, nothing else. The vertical seams on the trousers are often done by machine, but that's ok.

  • lol ahaha!

  • @joshthegreat666 You also probably hate the fact that they don't raise the silk worms them self.

  • if you want real custom suits check out anysuit. its a swedish founded comp. that works along with tailors in China, they make a suit by hand after all your mesurments so it fits like a glove and its also realy nice quality. you can get all kind of suits + a shirt and a tie for no more than 300 and less depending on the value of the dollar vs swedish kronor.

I got my suit yeasterday and Im very pleased;D

  • get your asian made garbage out of here. Its impossible to make any kind of half-decent suit for 300 dollars, the materials alone cost more! sell your bullshit elsewhere

  • explain why? as long as you have a good tailor and the right fabric then you're fine i get my suits sometimes under $100 and they're gucci made quality suits cause my tailor is italian.

  • how do you figure that? the people working in there are likely very well paid and are very good at what they do. like he said they're master tailors in their own right. if they had the balls they could each probably split off and start making their own bespoke suits for new customers.

  • You probably couldn't afford one anyway foul mouth. If you havent been there you should keep your trap shut

  • Those people have jobs. What would you rather them do.... be wards of the government. That's skilled blue-collar labor. Not everyone is going to be a tech employee.

  • The difference is that this is real custom. Not mass produced.

  • Dude, the actual brain-child of Hickey Freeman stared this place. I'd be afraid to get near anyone in that quality of suit. I wouldn't let anyone but the very best dry-clean this.

  • Nice video. These suits seem well made, but if I were in the market for an expensive suit I'd probably shop for something from Savile Row, Milan, or Rome. You can't beat the quality of Italian sartorias Brioni, Kiton, Attolini, Canali, etc.

  • Yepp, I should go for Savile Row, feels more classic.

  • I'm sorry to correct you but, They use the same fabrics. And the quality is as good as Savile Row. Very little is still done on Saville Row these days. Plus to get a true bespoke suit it would be around $10,000.00

  • You can get a 'true' bespoke suit for less than that on Saville Row, in fact you can't get a suit for much more than $10,000 unless you are going for something outrageous. I don't know what you are talking about, Saville Row is still almost entirely bespoke and the tailoring is done on the premises.

  • err, since when does true bespoke cost 10 grand? Not unless you're using vicuna or that scabal goldchip fabric it doesn't...3-4k tops and you're getting some made entirely by hand minus the vertical trouser seams maybe...and quality wise, theres a lot more going into suits by certain italian and english firms than that jules video shows about their suits...

  • @martydrooo you know your suits!

  • who´s correcting who? in chine they work for like 2$ while in US they work for 12$ per hour, + they have to take extra charge for all the shiping of fabrics, that they dont need to ship in china since china make all fabrics they need themself.. if you buy a 10,000$ suit atleast 2000$ is for the brand only and you´re just getting riped off...

  • You clearly know ZERO about suits...there are very reputable tailors in Hong Kong that are very old, but they would never ever ever use chinese cloth, English/Scottish cloth is preferred by the best tailors world wide, even the best italians like it over their own cloth...Look...you can get a good suit for 3-4K $ and about maybe 1500-2000 $ in HK from a reputable tailor, but 300 bucks just doesn't happen, also 10k suits use crazy and often useless fabrics like guanushina, quivik, gold, etc

  • @martydrooo you gotta understand their customer base though. Usually it is just pro athletes that don't know anything about fashion. If I was making 20 mil a year I'd fly to sevile row and get a few made a year. Lebron James wears RLPL when he has the dough to spend on a few A. Caraceni or Huntsmans. Beats me :P

  • great tutorial thank you!!!
