  • You are a very brave human being.......keep going and remember it is a question only you need to answer for yourself and to yourself

  • I no i am just a stranger to you but i know exactly where you are coming from. I am an alcoholic (so i think) because i drink when i am feeling nervous and i feel the anxiety kicking in. I am going to be 21 on the 18th but i think i drink way tooo muchlol. I have been to a rehab but i am still drinking and now that my doctors know that i have been to a treatment facility, they wont prescribe me any medicine for my anxiety! I constantly drink because of this.

  • you think??? get a grip you strupid little girl

  • @AndrewKevinNewtonTV learn how to spell stupid before using the word sweetie.

  • @RiotGrrrlLogic hahahaha well said. Your story is 100% the same as mine. I think you are suffering from panic attacks/panic disorder. The way you explain that out of the blue you get massive anxiety I get exactly the same and the first thing I do is self medicate with alcohol. This only makes me more anxious the next day and I reach for the bottle again. Like you, I am not sure if I am an alcoholic either. Best of luck to you, hope u get better soon

  • @AndrewKevinNewtonTV total fail. Complete cunt.

  • @prasert85 I am so sorry you feel so miserable in your life. You should really consider quitting drinking and going to A.A. I am sending tons of love your way. HUGS!

  • I have been dealing with it the same way you are for about 5 years now... They got me on Prozac but I drink now and again. Punisher.

  • @mystmystmystmyst , I never definitively said that I WAS an alcoholic. My title says I THINK I am an alcoholic. It doesn't say I AM an alcoholic. I am allowed to wonder and contemplate over my behavior to try to figure myself out as I am sure you do with yourself.

  • Atleast you recognize that you are self medicating.

Alcoholics usually don't realize they are medicating most of the time.

I would deal with the anxiety first and would not attend AA meetings.

You are not an alcoholic. Your parents have anxiety which runs in your family.

You also described having a panic attack earlier in the video.

I have a video addressing this very issue actually...

  • Cant say I relate to the drinking thing , but I for sure know how anxiety can be, hang in there and be strong

  • I made this video a long time ago and my words in this video do not relate to my life now. I no longer have issues with anxiety and I only drink once per week if that. But thanks!

  • ok this is a sure fired way of discovering if u are an alcoholic. Take a drink... and stop drinking. Do it a few times. Just commence drinking.... and after a couple of drinks... STOP. Go home. Don't drink anymore for that day... see if u can do this. if you are unable then you may well be alcoholic. Alcoholism is a PROGRESSIVE illness. You may noy be a stereotype NOW but if you're an alcoholic.... you will become that!

  • If it is a progressive disease then I should definitely be a raging alcoholic by now considering it has been 20 years since I took my very first drink. But I still do not exhibit any of the classic symptoms. I only drink once per week at most, usually on Saturdays. So I guess I'm not an alchy!

  • I do not know if this can help you at all... but anxiety big problem with my life alcohol problem with my life. but to be an alcoholic you dont have to be a fuck up... you just drink to

drink, danmit chikc I keep tryingt to help you but everything I say you already know. uhgggggggggggggggggggggggg exactly babe waht do we do when were in hard of our life and we are leaders of others while we stiell dring???? does that meanthat we are we with alcohol???

  • Were you drunk when you wrote this? LOL. Thanks for the comment anyways!

  • Appreciate your openness. You are very brave.

I am going to my first AA meeting tomorrow. It is actually scaring me half to death. But i will attend.

  • Well, be careful if you are female cause at my first AA meeting, I didn't know how it worked and this old man started talking to me and asked me if I wanted to help out with the meetings. I gave him my number to "help". But next thing you know I picked up a stalker. So just be careful cause there are questionable characters at AA meetings.

  • Bless.ya. I am actually male. Check my channel. However, we also get stalked sometimes as well believe it or not.

It is not that there will be questionable characters there to be honest, as they are everywhere in life.

What scares me is this new chapter i have created for myself...if you understand.

  • yes you know it dont trink this zhit hey super poster zeppelin juhu ;)

  • Alcoholics Anonymous? Worked for moi. Except, I do enjoy a good jug of beer occasionally.

  • I drink all the time I must be an alcoholic

  • You have to be an alcoholic. I don't think you would make this video if you aren't. I'm a functioning alcoholic as well. Sucks don't know what I'm going to do

  • There are different reasons for why people drink too much. Some people have a tragedy that occurred so they drink to forget that. Others are physically addicted and can't stop, others use it to control their anxiety as I did. I no longer drink and I am dealing with my anxiety in others ways. Why do you think it is that YOU drink?

  • i am an alcoholic.really.tried aa-meetings but they dont work.

  • I tried the juice when my wife left. It didn't work. My wife left because she was raped, and she chose alcohol as a fixall liquid after the attack, which destroyed our marriage. If that makes sense. My story, tis true, proves your point RiotGrl.

  • Hey Latech! I have been wrestiling with the idea that I am an alcoholic or not for a long time. Ultimately, I have decided that I am. And the reason being because I heard a addictions expert once say that it is not the quantity of alcohol that one drinks that determines if you are an alcoholic. But by the consequences of your actions while drinking. So if you have a lot of negative consequences related to your drinking, even if that's once per month then you have a problem and should not drink.
